The best choice
Pros:

Brilliant room spacious clean and all amenities. Great location for getting around the city. Staff very friendly. The gym, swimming pool and sauna were all fantastic and cleaned. All round great stay and would definitely recommend.

Should have four stars
Pros:

Great hotel really enjoyed our stay, three stars are not enough should be four. Staff are so attentive and the food in the lobby is fantastic and the breakfast selection is brilliant. The room was lovely even the glass walled bathroom.

Pros:

the location is bustling, i see many prefer it - with a kid, i enjoy the sukhumvit area more, but i'm not a bangkok specialist :) as a diamond member, i have received an upgrade to their large two room suite on both visits (thank you). it's full carpeting central so allergics beware. breakfast is basic but basically sufficient, you have your egg station and some hot options, a selection of baked goods and a few juices. so if you need to be in the silom area, it's a good place to park yourself!
