Another great holiday in Cyprus
Pros:

We have been to the Cosmelenia many times over the past 8 years and have recently returned from another holiday there. We have returned so many times because Cornelia and her staff work incredibly hard to be welcoming, hospitable and friendly. They go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. We stayed self catering this year but have also used their half board option in the past. Both options have provided us with delicious meals with large portions. The pool and surrounding area was clean and well maintained. Cornelia and her staff spend time and effort to get to know the family. A family member struggles with mobility and Cornelia helps by arranging a mobility scooter hire. This supports her accessing and sightseeing this beautiful island. When I got married in Cyprus, Cornelia and Antonis even supported us with this special event. Thank you Cornelia for another fantastic holiday. I will see you again next year.

Loved this Hotel
Pros:

We just came home from this lovely hotel and had a brilliant time, We come to this hotel twice a year and have done for many years, its comfortable quiet and close to beaches water park and shops, only a bus ride away to go into Ayia Napa Which cost 2 euros, if you want to party you need to go into Ayia Napa or book one of the many hotels nearer to the centre, we ate in the Cosmelenia every night as we usually do, as the food is excellent, although we have tried many other restaurant's and always come back to the Cosmelenia, as the food is as good if not better than some of the other restaurant's we have tried, and the portion sizes are more than adequate, the staff are very friendly and cannot do enough to make your holiday as comfortable and enjoyable as they can, In all honesty this is a 3* apartment complex that has many returning guests that go for the peace and quiet and a safe environment to have a relaxing trouble free holiday, and is not suited to people who want to party 24/7, or want 5* service at 3* prices, we have tried many of the hotels over the past 20 years or so and find that the Cosmelenia provides the best value for money, As for the staff they have the same staff who return every season which means they are obviously very fair with the people who they employ, the management will not tolerate people who do not play by the rules but will always try to correct any complaints, I would like to thank Cornelia and her staff for the service we receive every time we stay and look forward to seeing you again next year.

Awful. Unfriendly management. There is one woman who is the manager as well as an awful maybe her husband?
Pros:

Where do I start. First of all we arrived as a family of 8 at around 10/10:30pm and had booker 10 days all inclusive. There was 8 of us in 3 rooms. We had booked one as an assistance room which we paid extra for. There was no wet room and a step to get into the room and no hand rails to hold onto. We also paid for all inclusive when we booked the holiday which was around £8000 for all of us. We went for breakfast and it was all either frozen or microwaved food which tasted awful. And considering it was “all inclusive” you were brought a menu each meal time and there was one page to pick from with about 5 choices for each meal and you could only have one plate of food for each meal (in the menu it had a sticker saying 1 plate per person! In capital letters and explanation marks) which is clearly not all inclusive as advertised. If you didn’t like the food you had no other option, baring in mind we had kids with us and you know how fussy kids can be.We ended up having to go out and buy food for the kids, which is wrong. We booked all inclusive because your supposed to get all different options and be allowed what you want. The meal sizes were also very small especially the dessert it was a tiny ice lolly no bigger than a small hand. On all inclusive you expect to be able to choose what you want and to get snacks inbetween. There were no snacks available through the day except toasties which were dry with the cheapest ham and cheese you can imagine. However the people who aren’t all inclusive and are paying for meals 3 times a day (which to be honest wasn’t cheap when I looked at the prices) got a full big menu with all different options. One of the days I missed breakfast, and lunch didn’t start until 12 so I ordered a toastie at around 11am and was told “no lunch is starting soon!” By the lady running the hotel. The lady running the hotel was awful she was so nasty. She gave us dirty looks whenever we went for a drink or sometimes she’d just ignore you and sit at the bar smoking and on her phone while your waiting for a drink. She just has such a bad attitude and never smiled, she made us feel like we didn’t belong there and that we were an inconvenience to her.We also witnessed her screaming at the bar man (who was absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us) she was kicking boxes at him behind the bar in-front of customers. Screaming in his face “understand now” just nasty and vile behaviour towards her own staff members, which is wrong and also unprofessional. One of the days we sat down for lunch and the kitchen door was open and the chefs were screaming at each-other because non of the customers were eating the food, which didn’t surprise me at all. The room service was shocking. Considering we booked 10 days they didn’t change the bed sheets once. One of us had a nose bleed in one room and in another room one of us cut foot open the blood remained on the sheets the whole time we were there. Another thing is we didn’t get fresh towels every day, we were lucky to get them every 3 days. One day we had enough as we didn’t get any for 4 days so we went to reception and the woman running the hotel told us “no you can’t have one today.” Then another day one of us asked for toilet paper and had to wait three hours so we had to go in one of the other rooms. The bar was okay however if you are all inclusive you are only allowed the cheap off brand alcohol. You are not allowed any of the named spirits or beer unless you paid for them which is wrong as we paid for all inclusive for 8 people. They had a fridge with bottles of water, you had to pay 4 euros a bottle. Ice cream freezer £3.50 for a cheap twister lolly. Again we booked all inclusive which wasn’t cheap so all of this should have been included. The night we got there one of us is disabled and a few of us take tablets we asked for water for tablets and the woman running the hotel charged 8 euros. We said “it’s all inclusive can’t we please just have water” she gave us dirty looks and charged us for it at breakfast. The lady running it hates young girl/boy groups which is unusual. One night myself and my friends were sitting downstairs listening to the music (which every night she kept on till 1am) just singing and dancing and the other guests were happy and laughing with us, in fact they said aww yous have brought some life to the place! She came in shut the bar and switched it off. We asked her can we have it on a bit longer and she refused. You are running a hotel in ayia Napa which is a party island so you need to expect younger people. And we were very respectful to the hotel and other guests as I said the other guests said we brought life to the place. However the bar man who was working there was very kind he couldn’t do enough for us.Every morning he remembers what drinks we all had and brought them to us and kept asking how is your holiday, are you having a good time etc. He would always come over to check on us and see if we need anything and was very smiley laughing and joking with us, which the lady running it ended up telling him off for (you wouldn’t get that from the woman running it just snotty looks and huffing and puffing or turning away from you.)On our last day we asked can we keep the all inclusive until we get picked up at 8pm as we didn’t get it the day we got there because we arrive after 10pm and there’s no food and the bar shuts at 10pm. And she said no it stops at 12pm. So we had to order food to the hotel for our tea and she came over and told us to sit outside and eat as we are not allowed to eat our own food in the hotel. The whole hotel is just a miserable horrible atmosphere, no life to it at all.HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
And if you do book this one DO NOT BOOK ALL INCLUSIVE!!!!! Biggest waste of money ever. Ayia Napa is a lovely place but this hotel is a big no go.

Great hotel great staff.
Pros:

We arrived at 10 pm and were greeted with a smile and shown our room by the owner who was absolutely fantastic through the entire holiday.
The room was perfect, clean and had great views of the sea, didn't need anything else from the room which was cleaned spotless every day so no complaints.
The hotel is perfectly situated if you don't want to be in the heart of everything, there are lots of shops and restaurants within 5 mins walking distance and the new marina and waterpark are the same.
We didn't go all inclusive as we prefer to try different places but the food we had at the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced.
The staff were always helpful and friendly and on occasions went over and above for us which sometimes we haven't had at 5 star hotels, any requests we had they were more than happy to meet.
We are already planning to go back next year so that says a lot and will be the first time we have had a repeat visit to any hotel in Cyprus and have been going to Cyprus for 12 years.
I would rate the hotel and staff perfect and not to forget lolos he made my son's holiday after the pool.

It is s 3Star Hotel, but expected better.
Pros:

Staff are friendly, and the place is kept clean. However, I was quite amazed that they had PAINTED the bath in white gloss paint! Including the plug hole! There were no plugs. We had to ask a number of times for someone to repair the shower head.
We were told that the management didn't like the cleaning staff to change towels or bedding too often.
Although the advert states there is a TV and hairdryer in the apartment, there wasn't. You had to pay extra for air conditioning.
The food was very basic, fish options were either calamari or fish fingers! They need to check what a continental breakfast and full English breakfast is. It would have been nice to have been able to have yoghurt and fruit for breakfast, rather than having to choose between the two!
It would also be appreciated if there were tables to eat meals in a smoking free area. Not everyone smokes whilst eating!
Apart from all this, it was a bed to sleep in, it was quiet and had a lovely view from the balcony.

Amazing Holiday
Pros:

I would just like to say what a wonderful holiday we had. The location was fine, you could easily walk to the new harbour which was stunning or the locals beach. If you wanted Nissi beach or the stunning Landa beach it was 5 minutes on the bus which run every 15 mins (101 going and 102) coming back. This was 2 euros each no matter how far you wanted to go.
Atmosphere in the hotel was lovely, the staff were so friendly and you had just back ground music playing all day which was nice.
The rooms were basis but clean and to be fair the studios were big.
We were fully inclusive and what a treat. No buffet, literally menu comes out and everything cooked to eat. It was lovely. The evening meals were like going out for a meal, we had something different each day.
We will definetly return.
Thankyou for a lovely holiday, oh and the hotels dog, hes gorgeous

Hidden gem
Pros:

The hotel is a little way off the centre of nissi beach that's the only down side.
We stayed all inclusive and had seen some reviews that weren't positive about food let me say that the food was delicious...no its not buffet style it's table service you order off a reduced menu which included breakfast including English breakfast.
Lunch was jackets, sandwiches, chill concarni, pizza, chicken and pork dishes.
Evening meal was choice of a starter and a main I can honestly say everything we had was very tasty 😋.
The rooms are clean.
Pool area was clean well maintained the sunloungers are the best we've have had metal framed, higher and more sturdy that the plastic ones.
Family run very friendly would definitely return.

Just book it!
Pros:

Staff are amazing, so friendly, the lady and gentleman who single handedly run the hotel take their time to get to know you and even teach your daughter to play pool and know your orders before you so! food is fresh, tasty and huge portions.
Small friendly hotel. Rooms are fine, comfy bed, hot shower, kettle and cooking facilities if you want it. No problems getting a sunbed. Very close to Ayia Napa and a beautiful beach 10 minute walk away. Would 100% come back. We had a lovely chilled holiday. Ignore any negative, I can only assume you have a negative view of staff because you were rude and didn't get your way!

Cornelia gives amazing service
Pros:

The apartment and hotel were spotlessly clean. The pool was a perfect temperature unlike other hotels we have stayed at. There were plenty of sun beds and you could get one at any time of day. Cornelia and the young barman gave amazing service and always with a smile they seriously work so hard from early to late every day keeping the restaurant running like clockwork. Never had to wait for a table or service and food came quickly and was of a good standard. Never had to queue for drinks.

All inclusive scam
Pros:

We stayed at Cosmelenia Hotel Apartments in August 2025 with all inclusive, and the experience was a disaster. We paid for all inclusive, but what we got was far below what anyone would reasonably expect – a misleading and disappointing hotel. The room amenities clearly listed air conditioning, with no mention anywhere that it required extra payment. Yet when we entered a room at 35°C, the receptionist smugly told us the AC could only be used for an additional fee. The bathroom didn’t even provide basic items like soap.
Meals were poor and repetitive: breakfast was the same meagre selection every day, while lunch and dinner were only good if you happened to choose well. Vegetables were virtually nonexistent – when I asked for salad, I was given two lettuce leaves. After our complaint, management openly treated us with hostility, greeting other guests while deliberately ignoring us.
The only positives were the clean pool and the very kind, helpful bartender, whose attitude was a stark contrast to the rude receptionist. Unfortunately, this is nowhere near enough to make up for the hotel’s miserable standards.
This hotel is absolutely not recommended – anyone booking here should be prepared for disappointment

Ringworm alert
Pros:

Hotel was very basic, clean but very limited. Poor electric facilities. The key to the door had to be inserted to work all the electric so everytime you left and locked up the fridge would turn off, making it impossible to keep anything in the fridge cold. There was a light switch that keep shocking us everything we touched it. Very dated bathroom and towels supplied were torn and old. I found the staff weren’t overly helpful or friendly, didn’t really talk to us the whole week we stayed. The sofa beds were awful, I would have preferred to pay for an extra room than for any of us to sleep on those. Also, 4 out of 7 of us ended up with ringworm which I’m pretty sure came from either the bedding or the towels supplied. It’s a shame as location is perfect. Wouldn’t stay again.

We would not stay here again!
Pros:

The apartment was clean, the staff were lovely, however, air conditioning came at a cost of 8 euros a day, 80 euros for a week or 100 euros for 2 weeks. First time I have been in a hotel/apartment that charge for A/C. They also charge you if you want WiFi in your room but it's free if you are at the pool bar!
You have to buy your own hand soap for the bathroom as none is provided for you.
There were 2 plug sockets in the living area, both did not work. If we wanted to use the toaster, we had to unplug the fridge as the kettle plug wouldn't come out of the socket.😞

Wonderful hotel
Pros:

This is a wonderful place. Such friendly staff, very clean and no sun bed wars! We stayed 2 weeks and loved it. We were half bored and all food is cooked to order and fresh. Drinks are reasonable and the owner is such a lovely lady. To top it off they have a hotel dog who’s a cutie. Rooms are basic and comfortable and you pay for aircon which is the norm. It’s away from Ayia napa strip and quiet which is what we wanted. There is a bus stop right outside that takes you to the centre or Protaras for €2 adults and €1 for kids. This is a family hotel and won’t suit young lively groups which is something we were really happy about. Will definitely be returning again.

Horrible Hotel - Stay away
Pros:

Genuinely have never stayed in such a horrifying place. The whole experience was NOTHING like advertised.

Firstly, the front door lock was broken, meaning I couldn't leave the flat for an entire day until they fixed it.

Next, the kitchen was so half-baked that I couldn't cook anything more than an egg, despite it being "sold" as a 1-bedroom apartment.

The air con price was misleading, on Hotels they claim it's 7.50E "per stay" when it's in fact per night, leading me to foot an extra 50 euro bill. On top of that, the air con was ONLY IN ONE ROOM, so half the flat was unusable when it's hot.

The bathroom was atrocious too. Firstly, there was little to no water pressure, so I struggled to shower. The towels were stained with brown marks. The taps were also mislabelled. Worst of all, in a flat suited for up to 4, the bathroom DIDN'T lock.

The general condition of the property was shocking aswell:
The wifi did not work
The electrical plug sockets were clogged up - only had 2 usable ones
There was no do not disturb sign - got woken up to cleaning staff multiple times.
There were old gummy bears under my bed
My blankets had holes in them.
The communal pool table jammed twice and took my money.

The worst part was the owner. She was unfriendly, hostile and patronising. She really tried to nickel and dime me, claiming I had a 300 euro fee to pay, which I had to dispute. The customer service was just horrible, she wouldn't even let myself and a friend split a bill.

STAY AWAY!!

A great stay!!
Pros:

This was such a great place to stay! We were staying for 4 nights for a wedding nearby. The room was spotless, yes you had to pay for aircon but it was worth it and as we checked the website we knew about this ahead of time. We had a studio room so the air-con kept the whole room cool.
The lady working there was so friendly and kind, in-fact all the staff were lovely!

The pool area was great, pretty quiet, didn’t need to rush down in the mornings to put a towel on a bed. Busiest day was probably Thursday we were there and there were still plently of sunbeds.

Food and menu was great, plently of options and love that it was cooked to order so it was nice and fresh everytime! Sure its not buffet, but three meals a day (starter and desert for dinner) is still plenty!! Portions where a good size!

I liked there was no wifi in the rooms, made you be off your phone more (or can just buy data on your phone these days anyway)
Hotel is in a great location, there was a bus stop literally outside to take you into Aiya Napa and was 5 min walk to the beaches and 15 to the port.

Very cute dog and cats around as well!

Great place and great value for money! Would recommend!!
