Only the parking is a problem and the Internet doesn't work properly some part of the room. It work only in the open room not in the bedroom.

i like the improvements you are making with market etc but it closes too early.

The hotel was great. Pool was much appreciated. Great local breakfast place within a 2 minute walk and full service, great food restaurant within 7 minute walk, however no sidewalks and sometimes lots of traffic on road to restaurants.
Hotel was clean, well kept and staff very friendly and helpful in arranging tours of the island.
You can walk to Divi Beach, but not pleasant - too hot and again no sidewalks and takes more than 20 minutes to get there if you don’t take a wrong turn in the roundabout!
But for the price, L’Esperance was well worth it especially pre or post cruise, where you will be doing all your beach lounging at your island destinations.
Always nice to stay here, Have been staying here for conference weekends for the past 10 years. Staff always gets us what we need and rooms are well equipped for cooking and hanging out after a long day.

We took our friend to the hotel and he had no hot water in his room. Otherwise that I love the hotel as our 1st night in St Marteen before our timeshare starts on Saturday.

Meticulously clean and well run hotel with extremely friendly and accommodating staff in a local's neighborhood, outside of tourist area.

I appreciated the spot but you definitely need transportation wherever you stay on St Maarten. The service was ok but there is always room for improvement
The rooms are nicely decorated, and definitely clean. The staff is quite friendly.
The room we were put in was very dark, and had an issue with the shower. We let the staff know but they did not show signs of fixing it so we ended up switching hotels.
