Very helpful, professional staff. Great breakfast. Helped us with taxis and restaurant reservations. The bed and room were very comfortable.
The staff was so incredibly helpful and nice.
Overall we had a lovely two-night stay. The beds were by far the most comfortable we experienced during our two weeks in Morocco, and the staff was helpful with reservations and local recommendations. That said, we felt pretty scammed by the front desk pushing us to book taxis through them. We paid 150dh for a ride that cost just 20dh when we hailed one ourselves. Same cab, same distance. It left a bad taste in our mouths. Just a heads-up to future guests to be cautious….
Hotel very kindly opened the hammam for my use. It was a very good experience. Thank you.
Le Doge was an immaculate and beautifully decorated hotel, with lovely professional staff that made all the difference. Because of their quick and thorough service we were able to adjust seamlessly to a last minute airline change, when they arranged an early morning shuttle to the airport.
Dining experience was also excellent, as were the tips given for places to visit in the neighborhood. We only wish our stay had been longer and we look forward to returning sometime.
We came to Casablanca for an Art Deco tours, so it was wonderful to stay in Le Doge's modern, boutique take on the Art Deco experience. The surrounding neighborhood was also lovely. We actually ate more meals at the 5th floor restaurant than we might have intended--just because the food was delicious. Loved the hotel's signature fragrance and brought products home. Wish I had had time for the hammam experienced. All staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable to the highest standards. Overall, highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious art Deco/Art Nouveau experience!
Amazing staff who helped us get lost baggage from the airline and recommended a great taxi driver to guide us around during our stay. We had ground floor suite which was large and had a very comfortable bed and good size shower with good pressure water. Outdoor seating area was a bonus. Only downside to hotel was very overpriced breakfast options - for 2 of us was $560nad for basic continental - even our 3 course meal at Ricks cafe with alcohol only cost $780mad so ??
Location is safe and very convenient.
Great restaurants particularly Le Jasmine
I stayed twice at Le Doge and the staff was impeccably hospitable and accommodating. Reserve a room with a terrace for an even better experience. Food was delicious, rooms were spotless and the location, while not central, was readily accessible by taxi.
Stylish Art Deco themed hotel situated in a quiet street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant roof terrace for breakfast.
A lovely little hotel....
What an excellent property this was! We loved the boutique nature of the hotel and the design, decor, and our room were all fabulous. However, the service in this hotel was spectacular and the staff went above and beyond. We needed to pick up some Moroccan treats and asked Concierge to direct us. He escorted us to an amazing confectionary store, conveyed to them what we wanted, and ensured we weren't being overcharged. Simply above and beyond!
Thank you for making our stay so wonderful and exceptional.
Wonder boutique hotel on a quiet back street.
I cannot trust this hotel since someone took my money from within the deep part of my bags since lockers were not working and 1200 dollars is a lot and realized after we left. Disappointed with vacation. Took joy out of my trip particularly when happens on the beginning part of my vacation
Hotel Le Doge is an oasis of beauty and civility in a bustling city. The rooms are wonderfully quirky, named for a variety of celebrities. My room paid homage to Coco Chanel. The rooftop restaurant is lovely as well. But what makes this hotel unique is the service. Everyone at the desk was amazing. They not only made me feel like an honored guest, they made it plain that their mission was to ensure that I had a safe and fascinating time – boon to the soul of a weary, jet-lagged traveler in a new culture. I’ve stayed in top hotels all over the world, but the staff and the service at Hotel Le Doge really stand out. One of the most welcoming places I’ve ever been.
I loved our stay at the property. Everyone from bellhop to front desk to manager is hospitable, helpful and always ready to go above and beyond with a smile. We really liked the restaurant on fifth floor, always good for dinner and/or late night coffee/dessert. Loved the Moroccan cookies we had on arrival and throughout our stay. The only thing we would be teeny unhappy about is shower drainage (it drains slow) and lack of exhaust fans in the bathrooms. We especially appreciated the lady who checked us in (at front desk), she is incredibly helpful and gave me great tips for shopping for souvenirs. We also spoke to Amin (at the front desk) couple of times in the evening, he provided great service and introduced us to the first floor library which both of us appreciated being bibliophiles.
Excellent, great service, it was one of the best experiences in my life, although I travel quite often and have something to compare with. I would gladly stay in this hotel again! I was delighted with my stay with my small dog in this hotel from the beginning to the end.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. We liked the restaurant on the upper terrace. The Tapas were very tasteful. We went for a dinner and ended only with two tapas and desert, as the tapas were large.
The property is quite quaint but not upto par with other Relais and Chateaux properties we have visited. The room needed maintenance- the area rug was dirty and stained (probably never cleaned since installation), the room edges had dust, the curtains were not clean and off their tracks, the door to the patio would not latch(allowing noise to come in), the room had only one large cup and one small cup for coffee (don’t they expect couples in that room)!
The location is on an interior one way street, so a little inconvenient.
The check-in staff was very helpful, though the checkout person was not accepting of just a couple of issues we brought to his attention.
Very hard to find, not sure who gave it 5 star at the most it will be 4 star, 0 outlets for charging anything no USB make sure you lock the key from inside, the room is large and beautiful but shower was dated
Bathtub ia with the shower and draining was not working on both rooms, Breakfast not appealing
Our local partner point that the location is great but coming at night was not easy to find, local security from another Hotel was nice enough to guide us
If not we will be going in circles
