Staff lovely.. Food was absolutely incredible. I had the pork and was in heaven with every bite. Bed was insanely comfy and loved the spa
I can't complain about a thing
Gardens, room size, bed, pillows excellent , Elemis bathroom products, bar staff polite and well presented
The extraction fan in the bathroom was ridiculously noisy, the beverage tray very poor selection, breakfast buffet looked unappetising and untidy, lukewarm warm cheap coffee at breakfast, checkin perfunctory and bored. With the exception of the bar staff, not a single member of staff smiled, greeted me or made any eye contact
The rooms were a good size.
The staff were polite
Beautiful garden to sit out and enjoy a drink and the sun. Spa was really good. Enjoyed the shower in the hotel bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was really good.
Kitchen door banging from 5am.
The Gardens were beautiful..
The room wasn’t clean , standard for a Superior room £240 it wasn’t clean unfortunately stained bedsheet , tablets just under bed .. no batteries in remote ect standard breakfast with stained cups so overall abit disappointed!
BREAKFAST WAS GOOD ALTHOUGH AS DURING OUR PREVIOUS VISITS THE DINING ROOM WOULD BE MORE
RELAXING IF THE WAS SOME BACKGROUND MUSIC PLAYING.
The room was large with comfortable beds, sofa, tv, thick curtains, huge bathroom with two sinks. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The staff were very professional and friendly.
A few blankets in the room would be nice. Slow service in the restaurant, it was busy but you would expect that on a Saturday.
Bedroom was good
Food was excellent
No lift
Clean, comfortable, functional
A little basic overall, price quite high for the quality of service, fixtures etc.
Parking was easy
Nice room, large, with good shower
Nice staff
Springs in mattress, metal zips inside duvet, rubbish pillows, horrendously noisy people stomping like elephants until 3am in room above and again from 7am. Lift broken. Road closed 8pm due to roadworks. Room smells of drains. No plug socket near mirror. Noisy air conditioning sound in ceiling went off all night
Friendly welcome and great room.
You couldn’t get normal channels on the tv, could hear noise from upstairs
The staff all of them was soo welcoming and helpful
Nice staff, great location, neraby wellness center is good, good breakfasts
The property itself was probably on it's peak few decades ago and now you can see signs of wear in the room. Also, if you book through booking you have to pay extra charge for welness center access - £20 per adult and £10 per child for the duratoin of your stay.
Great location for us
My only criticism is that the spa facilities were in a separate building, it’s not ideal having to go out in the cold after using the spa. So I wouldn’t refer to it as a spa hotel
Location
N/A
Size of the room, easy parking.
Decor very tired, paint flaking from windows, bad rust stain on and under radiator in the breakfast room (presumably from an historic leak?) looked disgusting.. not nice at breakfast.
Charge extra to use the spa if you book through 3rd party websites.
No flexibility to check in even a little before 3pm, they won’t even check if the room is ready!
Just a pleasure to stay
How quiet it was
