Das Zimmer/Appartement war sehr schön, sauber und auch großzügig. Die Betten waren für unseren Geschmack etwas zu weich, aber das ist ja sehr subjektiv.
Das Frühstück war reich in der Auswahl und qualitativ hochwertig.

We waren op doorreis en verbleven hier twee dagen. Het was een zeer aangename ervaring. Zeer verzorgd, huiselijk, vriendelijk. Het personeel is heel toegankelijk. Respect voor milieu en omgeving is hier een zeer duidelijk onderliggende evidentie, zonder enige opdringerigheid. De menukaart is beperkt, maar heel verzorgde, betaalbare gerechten. We maakten een zeer mooie wandeling. Je kan gewoon vanuit het hotel, het bos in. En de volgende dag verkenden we de regio met de fiets. Prachtig heuvelachtig landschap. De Fritz-Wunderlich-route is een aanrader.

Sehr gut geführtes Landschaftlich gelegens Hotel in dem Gäste mit Hunden willkommen sind. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Die Küche ist etwas einfältig. Wenige Gerichte zur Auswahl. Für Vegetarier wenig Auswahl. Ansonsten sehr guter freundlicher Service. Bei Gelegenheit werden wir gerne mal wieder dort Übernachten.

Was very impressed. Even though had a 30 minute drive it was well worth it. Already recommending to others as a must stay.

I was in town for two days for work. This was a very comfortable hotel, the staff was very friendly. They accomodated my request for an early breakfast. I didn't get to use any of the spa services but it seems really nice.

Spacious clean and functional rooms. While we were not here for the hiking, it appears that there are numerous hikes throughout the surrounding hills. Breakfast included many choices both hot and cold. We ate dinner here and two of the dishes included fresh items from their garden. The mozzarella and tomato cake was wonderful as was the garden salad. This was a wonderful stay.,

nice family run hotel, rooms clean and comfortable, great breakfast...stayed here because nothing close to Ramstein airforce base, but this turned in to very nice place off the beaten track!

This was a great experience of the country side in Germany, about 15 minutes from Ramstein Air Base, beautiful place, the staff is amazing (they speak English), breakfast was included and had everything you'd wish for, many attractions around ( visit the Castle).
Only down side, it was July and the hotel has not Air Conditioner, this is very common in Germany, but it cools down at night time ( we always came back late to the hotel and the temperature was acceptable after a good shower) But, NO A/C .
Overall, the stay was great. Our room was 130 euros p/n because we had a 2 rooms apartment. I definitely recommend it and will stay again.

Nice hotel and excellent staff. It is located in a fairly rural area but is the nicest hotel we could find near Balmholder.

I was so impressed with the level of service, friendliness of the staff, quality of the food and the facilities - even more so considering the price was very reasonable indeed.
