Room A was fine with quirky gadgets, jacuzzi bath was a hit, bed was comfortable. However the overall cleanliness of the room, especially the floor, and around bedside tables was dusty with bits of debris on the floor. Myself and my partner had no sleep at all! This was due to the excessive noise from other residents, especially the couple staying in room B, who spent most the night arguing, and constant coming and going. The smell of cigarette smoke outside was constant. I also heard voices around 3am just outside our window, I actually heard them one of the voices say shall we smash the window. I was actually ready to call the police at one point. We were also awoken with a family gathering outside the window at 6:50am, a ball was kicked against the window at one point. At this point my partner and I had had enough, and checked out. I don’t think we will be visiting again.
It was great and they have a Star employee in Ryan
Upon arrival the hotel looks modern and clean.once inside the stairswell was very dusty and hadn’t been hoover for a long time.
Once in the room its was very budget the carpet was old the blinds had seen better days walls-stained with god knows what.but nice clean bedding and towels.
Urine still in toilet and not been flushed or cleaned pubic hairs in shower tray.
My partner spent half hour having a little wipe round with a damp cloth and wipes and it then felt a little cleaner inside the room.
The bed was comfy little more time spent on cleaning in room and communal area would makes this a lovely little budget place.
The receptionist/ Barman was a lovely happy very helpful man.
Great hotel, nice comfy beds, plenty of room in the family room.
Downside was the drunken Scottish woman rolling in at 3 am and shrieking and swearing for 30 minutes before going quiet. Kids under 4 aren't allowed as I assume there have been complaints about their behaviour but in all honesty I'd prefer the hotel full of toddlers than that woman, otherwise great.
I thought it was really nice at first but then I noticed all the dust everywhere, couldn’t use the kettle because it was full of dust and limescale especially where the water is supposed to pour out it was also rusty. We couldn’t see through the windows unless they were fully open which caused flies because of the rubbish outside and there was no view apart from rubbish. The room was supposed to be a family room for two adults and two children it was more like a room for two people the bunk bed sounds likes it was going to fall apart everytime my children got on it and the double bed a little bit bigger that a single bed and was very uncomfortable. Also had a cleaner just walk in on us and I complained about it but the excuse I got was that she had mistaken the 8 on the rota for a B because of poor handwriting which didn’t make sence because all the rooms were numbers not letters. I did receive a verbal apology from the manager and was given one round of free drinks but because we didn’t drink them straight away they ended up with little flies in the drinks so we were unable to drink them anyway. I really wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone especially if you have children. The manager seemed nice at first but after I made the complaint I felt like his attitude changed towards me even when I asked for a fan and clean towels and sheets for the beds it seemed to be a hassle. Last of all I brought a chocolate bar out of the vending machine and it was two months out of date.
Had a really nice time and the design room was amazing, really good location inbetween both piers. Staff were really nice and the bar area was great too. The room was abit noisy and you can hear the doors banging and we could hear next doors tv but it didn’t bother us, we didn’t want to leave.
The hotel is modern. Had a beautiful view of the ocean from the front view. We had paid extra for the upstairs room which came with a jacuzzi bath. Everyone was amazing and to a high standard. Only down thing was when we would attempt to draw a bath and put the jets on, gunk from the jets came out. We made the reception aware of this and they got someone into clean it and although it wasn’t completely clean after they had been we still enjoyed everything else and they compensated with a couple of free drinks which we appreciated.
Modern bathroom, good shower, room was on ground floor backing bar so could hear refrigerator noise and bar music thru wall and people moving up and down stairs but was quiet by 9pm ish so was ok. Front desk guy was friendly and helpful. Beds comfy but sheets didn’t fit bed so fell off which was not great as mattress protectors were stained. Great location right across road from beach.
Spacious bedroom for large family. Very draughty. No milk for a tea, coffee. Expresso machine with no pods. Low double beds and one pillow. Extertainment area and bar very good.
Would happily stay again
Great location
Stayed in family room. Great value
So good for money love the spar room
Great value for money, upgrade rooms had jacuzzi bath, and a lot of mod cons, eg air conditioner, Nespresso coffee machine etc
Lovely clean hotel
Easy check in
Stayed in design room
Will stay again next time in blackpool
Great stay room was amazing, staff were friendly and really welcoming highly recommend
Value for money
Seafront location so has a bit of noise during the night and in the mornings, but if you are aware of that as we were you can work round it, very small rooms but for the price we paid you couldn't complain really, had an issue with the blinds in one of our rooms but was rectified almost straight away. Only issue we found was the blinds didn't fit the window well enough so it was almost daylight in our room from 5 in the morning onwards, could do with a better fit to stop that, no breakfast offering but very close to several places to eat on a morning. Overall we would happily go back if visiting again
We loved our stay at this hotel. Would definitely stay here again :)
