Room was dated and we returned from a night in the town main doors were locked no staff available rang hotel 3 times no answer and left locked outside for 20 mins before anyone came.

The hotel needs updating and shaking up
Pros:

Did not book meals, location as already stated was ok

Cons:

room had old dirt around the sink and Toilet area's, looked like never been cleaned also hidden muck under bed .the receptionist did not make you feel welcome on arrival or departure not even a thank you. The male bar man that was supposed to be serving Friday night was on his phone most of the time instead of working, and I couldn't believe that they allow children to play bingo although they can't shout if they win this is still gambling under age, management must walk around blind folded is all i can say. We also had no working radiators for the first 2 days then provided with a mobile heater instead of fixing it. Would not recommend staying here again.

Brilliant in our opinion
Pros:

Food was excellent, entertainment was excellent, Staff was very friendly, room was lovely and the hotel was well situated.

Pleasant but room for improvement
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Room needed decorating. Windows needed cleaning.

Cons:

Modernise, decorate bedroom, better sausages on brekky.
