Nice place, but tv didn’t work

Thank You El Terado Terrace! We loved this place, Amazing staff, quick and easy to check in and out, we loved that when we used to go out the room deers will be infront walking or eatting grass, we had a ocean view. The staff went over board to accommodating us. So happy we chose
El Terado Terrace. 😊 see guys again.

The ocean views were perfect

It’s cozy and really has the island vibe around it. Locals are friendly and getting a taxi was so easy. Coke machine doesn’t work so don’t put money into it. Room is older but clean. Most Imporantly!!! THE MATTRESS WAS SOFT and comfortable 😃

If you like self service. This is the place “Front desk” is a tiny booth theoretically open from 9-6 but reality is you have to call their cel phone Don’t sleep in or you won’t get your room cleaned. No soap in shower but you can use shampoo for hand soap. Clerk was nice when we called him. Need strong wrists to turn off shower or else bring a pipe wrench. AC was full blast or turned into heater

The stay was not the best it was not clean at all very down graded and dirty. Not comfortable to sleep either. Very stuffy even with AC and fans running. We would not stay here again. It smelled like weed the whole time as well.

Didn't like the huge hill

The hotel was fairly quiet . It had a nice kitchen. Was clean.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly

No one at front desk, although we arrived at 3 pm. Key was left for us. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, creaky, stiff, lumpy. Bathroom was clean except for mold on shower door.

Good location. Wash walk to and from center of town. You do have to walk up hill -‘if you don’t have a golf cart.

The manager Ivan was great very nice but the place itself was run down cards for unlocking the rooms didn’t work the door itself jammed the shower valves were horrible I seen roaches ( I got pictures and video proof) the place was just really run down for what we payed you should get a little more for your money I will never stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone oh yes the WiFi did not work either !!!!

Good service staff is great not ocean view if you don’t rent any kind of transportation will get tried walking up the hill if not in good fit

400$ a day to see mold in the shower must stereo type your name upon booking and giving you a room we stayed 1 night and checked out he couldn't accommodate

Air conditioner wasn't working upon arrival, worked on it for 1/2 hour, then waited on staff's "lunch" break to get over for an hour, then finally texted office number with issue, told "be there in a minute, waited another half hour for staff to show up, took yet another 1/2 hour to get running. Woke up Sunday morning to dead cockroach on bathroom floor. but pretty nice overall.

Do not pay full price or even close to it for this place. TV did not work. It had to be fixed each day but cable pixelated in the evening. WiFi was too weak to stream anything. I know, who goes to Catalina to watch TV? Well in the evenings after visiting bars and restaurants you may want to do that. Anyway the toilet stuck, the bathroom fan did not work, many plug ins did not work and were old. I moved bed to plug in cpap and saw lots of dust bunnies and a few stains. So here’s the good stuff: the kitchen had nice plates and glasses, the decor was nice, the cleaning staff was nice. The owner/manager was not to be bothered and thought a sign on the registration window excused him from being attentive and of course it is your fault if you do not read the sign. He is busy fixing up the place. Just no this is not worth the money you pay. I’m ok with all the problems if I was paying a discounted rate or was compensated for trouble. But no offer was given and when suggested they did not reply. Please stay somewhere else b

It was great

Property is in the top!!! We had to walk uphill! No front desk, my room smelled, the kitchen sponge was not new it was smelly. The Fridge made a loud noise in the middle of the night. I didn’t requested a room with kitchen and it was given to us.
