The A. Venue Hotel

They never informed us that they cancel our reservation because of ECQ.

Water heater is bad! No medium

The staff at A Venue or very profession providing a high level of service. Front desk and Bell Captains were responsive. The restaurant was good. Although they need to replace sterno in the buffet to ensure food at 9:45am is still hot. Many dishes were cold which was unfortunate. The pool is very nice and 5th Corner Bar adjacent to the pool nice place to hang out. Great location in Makati near SM Market across the street, Century Mall is right around the corner, and restaurants and Starbucks 1 block away. I would definitely stay here again.

The check-in was fast & fuss free. The room was old & dated & the mattress was not comfortable. It was indented as if overused. The air con unit in the bedroom was the very old window type. It was noisy throughout.
Breakfast is typically local with the exception of the egg station. Service is slow & there was no replenishment or the food items despite asking for it at 9am.

Slow at first - front desk staff a little unresponsive. But once we got checked they were great and upgraded our room

The towels need to be replaced, although it's clean it has discolorated.

Front desk people so helpful, nice pool , breakfast little over priced . Over all nice pleasant stay

I don’t understand why the take deposit from my visa and the never paid me back my money. And al already Pay every thing the check everything in the room was good why the have to hold my money deposit for weeks I’m back to Canada I don’t trust this guys the give me back my money

I've stayed at this property many times over the past 7 years, it's aging well & the hotel staff are very courteous & helpful. The hotel was very busy during this trip. The only thing that really needs improvement is the breakfast buffet......not the worst but not the greatest either. I will return again next year!

We came at the hotel an hour before the check in time at 2 pm, the front desk told us that the room will be ready at 2 pm but we waited more than an hour to get in our room.

Nice place to stay..

Old building. Nothing fancy but cheap. You get what you pay for

Walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Nightly entertainment across the hotel. Nice pool.
Small gym.

The rooms is small. They seem to have issues with towels. Towels were never delivered at the time of house keeping. They deliver late in the evening.

I have held accommodations at the property at several times over the previous ten years. The property has continued to deteriorate and remains with the same amenities. Here are a few examples: The 'gym' equipment, specifically the treadmill was slipping. The door locks on the doors had dead batteries which caused the door not to open. The WiFi is intermittent, depending on where you are in the room.

Room is dirty, bedsheets smells. Air conditioning unit is dusty
