Hotel City Castle

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Casa Casel Hotel. The room provided was drastically different from the one advertised on your website, and the air conditioning was not functioning upon our arrival. Though it was eventually fixed, I was shocked to learn there was no remote control for it, and we were instructed to use the main switch.

Further more, when requesting additional towels, we were told there was only one per couple available exacerbate matters, the towel provided was so dirty that I found it more suitable for cleaning purposes rather than personal use. The condition of the toilet was equally appalling.. Adding to the disappointment, the condition of the toilet was unacceptable. Frankly, the experience was so disappointing that I would have preferred staying at a roadside dharshale

Convenient location, good rooms, helpful staff

Was given a dirty room with a dead phone which looked unused for 2 years. And only after complaining was told that it's a temporary room. No assistance provided for going to the room either.
After heated argument was given a room which was cleaned in front of me. Still it had dirt underneath the bed spread which I found at night. It was a nightmare to sleep at such a dirty place after COVID.
Bathroom was looking 10 years old with brown marks and uncleaned since ages. Basin tap was not working. Tap near commode was broken. Had to use mug to take water.

By no way is this a 3 star hotel. Service is too poor. There are better hygienic hotels post Covid or guest houses available at the same rate or less. Managers are rude to talk hence you will avoid them after argument so that you don't spoil your holidays.

I would rather stay in hygienic no star hotel than in unhygienic 3 star hotel because for me health is more important.

Please don't get lure by pictures posted by them,they all are totally fake!!

Our check in time was 10pm on 16th april.
We informed them about our arrival at evening. Inspite of all this when we entered our room,bedsheets were in worst condition. wrinkled,dirty and hairs all over it 😡😡
blanket’s cover was stained with so much Blood 😤😤.
we called services to change it. Their landline was not working,so forget about room service.we got it only once after repeated requests from my phone
Bathroom was clean but no soap nothing was provided. When asked for it,no one turned up🤷‍♀️
Please don’t visit as Manager is involved in it too.
So you cannot expect help from staff when manager is useless !!!

My Choice is because near to Harmandir Sahib and is walking distance about less 5 min. It is 3 star hotel and staff are excellent very nice people from manager Mr Deepak to all the way. The owner must be very thankful to have these staff working with for sometime.

Excellent location. Amazing Staff. Awesome breakfast. People are so friendly and accommodating loved the experience. Located at walking distance to golden temple as well as all other major attractions in Amritsar. Highly recommended to stay here if you are visiting Amritsar.

Amazing experience at this hotel ... It's kind of a 4 star hotel .. The food here is lip smacking.. Ambience is good.. The staff are very polite n helpful..
Also Golden Temple is just 5 mins far from this Hotel.

Special room & washroom for handicapped, central air-conditioning, car rental, laundry / dry cleaning services, multi lingual staff, separate dining area for the groups,power back up, 24 hr room service, live kitchen. A perfect accommodation near Golden Temple.Hotel City castle is just a few steps away from Golden Temple.

Food menu must change sometime and likewise same with the breakfast. (My rating 5 / 5 )

I had a wonderful stay. The staff was very polite and the rooms and service is impeccable. Supportive Staff. Maintaned good Hygiene even though a pandemic covid 19 situation. salute to staff member ....

This hotel is literally 15 mins drive from the airport so very convenient whether coming or going. It's about 5 mins to drive into the central Golden Temple area. The reception area is large and comfortable and a surprisingly pleasant place to sit for a hotel reception area, The staff were v good. The rooms are very good and spacious although the toiletries in the bathroom were good, Highlight was the food,Along with this, some special service is available in the hotel. Enjoyed by stopping there.

GOOD ambience, very polite staff, service is good. In room facilities are satisfactory.on the whole it is worth preferred hotel in the place like Amritsar.
I appreciate the staff for their fast service.

Great location, it is very close to the gurudwara. The staff is helpful and looks after the guests. Rooms are decent, warm shower and all the toiletries provided. Breakfast is great, and very close to bus stand

Damp all over the walls plus leakage in bathroom. We had to change our room twice. Plus it was smelling very badly. Very badly managed. When asked why the rooms are different from pictures than very conveniently they informed photos are just for show and too attract people.

The television and refrigerator was not in the working condition...the bedsheet was not very clean,and overall sanity of the room was not up to the mark...but the staff is helpful and friendly and the pick up and drop service is good

The hotel is decent with good maintenance and cleanliness. The staff Mr Raj is very cooperative. Overall a good hotel at reasonable price. Hotel is not much far from golden temple , jalianwala bagh etc. Golden temple is 1 km from here. The parkimg is available .

The room was well maintained with a very polite service staff who guided us on the best way to travel to the various places in Amritsar. The hotel is also conveniently located in a place which is close to the Golden Temple and the attractions near the temple.
The toilets were also well maintained and the hot water was available 24×7. It has both a shower head and a bucket to have a bath.
They also have a hotel which provides good food and room service.
The price is worth the services offered by the hotel and I would recommend it.

Nice place to stay. Very close to Golden Temple. Good ambience, nice rooms, helpful staff. Food quality is also very good. Breakfast spread was excellent having wide variety of items. Had a beautiful stay. Like it very much.

Nice hotel to stay in Amritsar, amazing location as all places to visit are near by and mostly are at walkable distance. Hotel staff Mr Raj is also very polite and helpful. Food served here is tasty and you can get variety of food item. We had a good time here and enjoyed our stay a lot...
