Hyatt Herald Square New York

This Hyatt exceeded my expectations compared to other Hyatts in the city. The service was great and hotel was really clean! The staff was friendly and interacted with the whole family. We went for drinks at the bar and the sangria was great and the waitress talked to our child and brought him a drink. The bar was busy but staff was very attentive and friendly. They should give them extra help.
We will definitely be back to this location

Great staff and clean rooms. Stayed here 2x now and have been very happy with how clean the rooms are. Breakfast is great but not included with the room price.

It was a great hotel. The staff helped me with early check-in (no fee) and there was a heatwave….the AC was pumping. The room was clean. Nice little gym and free coffee in the mornings. No nonsense, just a comfortable hotel with nice people. Be back soon!

Es war alles perfekt. Hervorzuheben ist die Allergikertauglichkeit, ruhige trotzdem zentrale Lage, sehr schöne Einrichtung, leise Klimaanlage, super Ausblick, Sofa am Fenster, a la carte Frühstück mit perfektestem Omelette ever.
Würden sehr gerne wiederkommen, dann länger

The rooms are nice, it's recently remodelled. Service needs work. But I'd be leaving four stars if it weren't for the rest:

Two nights into a six-night stay, the hotel ran out of coffee pods with caffeine and didn't have any available for the rest of my stay. That's a "send someone to Target and buy k-cups" level of issue, guys.

Also, their internet doesn't really work. It's incredibly choppy the way wifi is when you're using really old routers. Sometimes it stops loading pages altogether, sometimes it's impossibly slow to load pages. Occasionally it works but still pretty slowly. You'd think we weren't located in the most advanced city on earth.

The biggest problem is if you call the front desk to ask for help with the non-functional wifi, they blame it on your device and tell you that you need to sit on the phone with some help desk to do trouble-shooting. For reference, this issue always affected both of my devices, both of which were working perfectly fine at my office (and restaurants, and the theatre, and anywhere else with normal working wifi). So I spent a week in town for business and couldn't get anything done outside of the office.

They're providing third world services whilst charging Manhattan prices; go elsewhere. I've been to 65 countries and all seven continents and never had anyone run out of coffee. That's a new level of ridiculous.

location, price, clean and comforatble rooms. Roof top bar/lounge with view of Empire State Building. Just a couple blocks from Times Square. Perfect for those who want to see the NYC attracktions.
