The Hewitt Wellington Hotel

Everything was perfect from start to finish with our stay at the Hewitt Wellington. The communication with the staff was excellent and they were so kind and considerate and made me feel at home. Jody was especially gracious. My room was beautiful and the inn was impeccable. It had nice views of the lake and was a short walk to the beach. I will definitely stay there the next time I am in Spring Lake.

We had a beautiful second floor room overlooking the pool. The staff was so kind and helpful at check in. They even texted us to let us know our room was ready earlier than usual so we could arrive a bit earlier. Dinner at the Whispers Restaurant off the hotel lobby was amazing. Just a great summer stay all the way around.

We were looking for a quick getaway as a couple. We enjoyed the hotel, the staff are wonderful and the space is very charming. We were on the first floor suite with walk out access to the pool area. We also appreciated the link given to us for a beach set up which we did on one of the days. So easy, we walked to the beach and then spent our second day by the pool. We walked into town both nights for dinner at fantastic BYOB restaurants and then again in the morning. We will be back!

We had a great experience at the Hewitt Wellington. As I told my husband, it was a little “wonky” but that added to its charm. The front desk staff was wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. We got there early and we were able to get into our room which was great.

The location of this hotel was perfect. It was a short walk to the beach and it was lovely sitting out on the porch and looking at the lake. Parking was not a problem at all. The pool area was nice and we took advantage of it.

Breakfast was very basic but it was fine.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again. Just a warning that there are stairs and no elevator so if that is an issue for you, this wouldn’t be the place
for you to stay.

Just a perfect relaxing time. Inn is lovely a walk to the beach near the lake. Just wonderful.

My favorite place to vacation. The hotel rooms are so lovely and comfortable. You can choose the room from their website. The location is perfect. Walking distance to town and the beach. The staff is wonderful.

Excellent location and accommodations

The property was beautiful and our bedroom was equally as nice. However, getting into the bathroom was very dangerous. We had to step down into it. My husband took a shower when we first got there and forgot about the step (which should be labeled more clearly with a yellow strip and a small handrail). He fell going into the bedroom and landed flat on his face. This should definitely be addressed by management.

The room was large, bright and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony overlooked the lake and was a great spot for an evening cocktail. We walked to the boardwalk about a block and a half away and had a lovely evening stroll. The area is very quiet and the hotel is surrounded by large houses. There is no shopping within walking distance.
