La ubicación perfecta para lo que necesitaba
Trato muy amable
La situation est idéale. On peut faire beaucoup de chose à pied depuis l'hotel. Le quartier est agréable, nombreux restaurants autour. Petit salon avec boissons et encas à disposition. Petits déjeuners très bien. Personnel très aimable et serviable.
Chambre et salle de bain un peu vieillottes mais propres.
Mais surtout, aucune isolation phonique avec la rue. On a l'impression de dormir dans la rue dont on entend tous les bruits : gens qui parlent, camions, travaux....

The location of La Casa was perfect for living in the center of the old part of the city. Walking to MANY excellent restaurants, shops, and multiple bus routes was very easy. The one downside is on a Friday or Saturday night if you are facing the park (which I still recommend for the view and fresh air from the little balcón), you may hear a boisterous drunk person. But that was 2 nights of a stay longer than a week. The staff were incredibly helpful. I had to see a physician, get prescriptions, figure out the parking garage that they have a special deal with, change out my rental car when there was a problem, get a new phone charger when mine died, purchase a bus pass, and probably a few other minor items along the way. They were amazing! I also liked that they had a lounge area with a computer access and printer, as well as a small kitchen and sitting area in the atrium outside the breakfast room that had tea and coffee and a refrigerator with water, beer, soda, as well as some sweet and savory snacks available 24 hours a day. That was a true blessing when I realized how thirsty I was at midnight, or wanted to rest with a tea in the afternoon before my next outing.
The breakfast quality is just so-so. The bread always seemed stale. They only seemed to make scrambled eggs- no variety - not even the traditional Spanish omelette! The orange juice was not fresh squeezed like what you will get in some places - you can tell by the taste. The staff don’t offer to make any other kinds for you, though I saw one man request fried eggs and they made them. This is the one area I suggest for improvement. There was some mold on the grout and tiles in the bath that needed some attention, but otherwise the room was spotless.

Das Fenster ging auf einen kleinen, etwas lauten Innenhof hinaus. Die Badezimmertür/WC ist aus Glas, schließt nicht richtig und ist daher unangenehm, was Lärm und Gerüche angeht.
The hotel had a gorgeous interior and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect—close to most attractions, right by Trinidad Plaza, and very near restaurants, bars, and bus pick-up points. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. We also appreciated that the hotel provided umbrellas for guests. Everything was perfect, rooms were equipped with bath robes, slippers and huge bath towels, extra blanket, toiletries lotion. Bath gels shampoo and bath cap. Nice hot roomy walk in shower. The room temperature was perfect for a cold January month.
The trash pick-up at around 3:00 a.m. was noisy.
