Wonderful Spa & Great Service
Pros:

I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I used the spa services and everything was wonderful. The masseurs were very professional and skilled. You can comfortably enjoy the sauna, pool, and steam room. The staff were extremely attentive and welcoming. Mr. Ahmet took special care of us and gave detailed information about the spa packages. We chose the best package and had a truly relaxing and enjoyable time. The Turkish bath was also amazing. I am very satisfied with the service. Thank you!

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Pleasant hotel but was quite busy. Room was comfortable with good views of the landscape. The hotel is not central to the tourist spots in Cappadocia so you need access to transportation to get around. Staff while polite were slow in the restaurant where breakfast was served - things like orange juice / water dispenser had not been filled as well as food dishes not topped up. Dinner buffet was good. Although did not have the time to use the outdoor pool - it did look very inviting.

Nice experience
Pros:

Our experience with hotel was good front desk associates especially Berfin and yigit were supportive and helpful as Berfin arranged green tour of the areas to visit in Capaidisia and also she helped to arrange hotel transfer from Avanos to Hampton Antalya Airport.

Memorable stay!!
Pros:

It was the right choice for us, prior to arriving staff was helpful and accommodating.
They helped arrange all our tours and airport shuttle. The assistance was flawless from one shift to the next. Staff stayed in contact and kept us updated with any changes to our booked experiences. We whole heartedly appreciate Yildiz , Berfin, the rest of the front desk staff and house keeping staff for helping make our visit a memorable experience!! Thank you very much!

Terrible -- Stay Away
Pros:

As a frequent Hilton traveler with high status, I'm sorry to report that this was the most disappointing Hilton stay I have ever encountered. When we arrived, the hotel smelled like sewage. The awful smell was persistent and prevalent throughout the hotel. No amount of fragrance deodorizing could cover the smell. The hotel restaurant was buzzing with flies, regardless of where we sat. The hotel was dirty. Maybe they have too many tour bus groups coming in and out of the hotel. Very disappointing.

Great hotel and staff
Pros:

We had a one night stay at the Doubletree Avanos. Overall, our experience was great. The staff was very attentive and was in direct communication since the reservation was made, offering airport transfer, tours, and anything that could make our stay better.

I cannot say anything about the location, since we had tours that provided transportation, however, it felt a little bit apart from the city. The breakfast was good, but we felt more items could be included.

Special thanks to Alpcem for his nice gesture to contact us when we left a valuable item in the room after check out, which he retrieved and kept for us at the front desk.

Poor service and location
Pros:

The AC was not working and the staff could not care despite reporting it multiple times and despite being a hilton gold member. Terrible service and not solution oriented. They could not resolve the problem after checking it multiple times. Secondly, the hotel Jacuzzi was not working and the staff had no idea why. Wifi was not working in the room as usual

Review for DoubleTree by Hilton Avanos Cappadocia
Pros:

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Avanos Cappadocia, expecting the standard level of safety and comfort typically associated with the Hilton brand. The hotel has a nice exterior and the bed was quite comfortable, which I appreciated.
However, there were a few disappointments during my stay. The room felt a bit rundown and dated, which detracted from the overall comfort. More notably, the bathroom design is not very senior-friendly. The shower is located over a deep bathtub, which is quite slippery and can be dangerous for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. On top of that, the mixer and valve were not working well, making it hard to adjust the water temperature properly.
While the hotel has potential and some strengths, it falls short in terms of maintenance and accessibility. I hope the management will consider updating the rooms and improving the bathroom setup to better align with Hilton’s usual standards.
