I really wanted to give this review a 5 star as it was priced reasonably, great location, room was big. There’s Lawson downstairs & 7/11 down the road. Train station is walking distance & only one stop from Susukino. Staff were friendly & housekeeping does a bloody good job keep the room clean & tidy.
However we couldn’t really adjust the A/C temp in the room to something comfortable. We sometimes had to open the window to cool the room & we visited Sapporo in January! Average temp was -3 degrees!
The bed was decent size but mattress was hard & the pillows were duck feather pillows but it was thin.
They have a laundry room which is convenient but the washing machine size was only 5kg & dryer took a while as you couldn’t change the heat setting.
Yes…you get what you pay, just sharing my experience 🫰🏾
This hotel was good but the check in staff was not great, difficult to communicate with them in English.
Rooms were ok, on the small side and the mattresses were hard.
Breakfast ok, but repetitive.
Mediocre service and mediocre stay
We are thrilled with our experience here. The rooms are good sized for two people. Good service from the staff is to br expected from an Accor property and we were absolutely delighted with the service levels. The breakfast spread is also quite wide.
Ibis Style is a pleasant hotel, rooms are not massive, breakfast plenty of choice. Overall good value and location.
Walking distance to Nakajima Koen and near the shopping street.Fixed rate parking next door for hotel guest.
Ibis style is probably one of the biggest rooms we stayed in Sapporo.
We had Stayed at 11 Day in Ibis Sapporo, very convenient, lawson at ground floor and 7/11 50m away.
We had a pleasant experience at Ibis Styles Sapporo . Hopefully Come Back.
Hotel staff are enthusiastic and ready to provide excellent assistance. I stay here regularly. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are big, and it's very convenient.
Easy to get to where you want to go. Lots of food and shopping options.
A great stay for a couple of days in Sapporo. As with all of the Japan Accor properties they take a lot of care with the service and maintenance of the rooms. This is a slightly older hotel but is taken care of well and has a friendly front desk.
Room, breakfast and staff good. Challenge was bar and food downstairs, if you wish for customers need to review cover charge and staff attitude. Location was good next to a subway station and central.
Great property to use as base for trips into central Sapporo. It’s definitely seen better days in terms of facilities and you can tell it’s quite dated. Having said that, it served our purpose of just “somewhere to sleep” even for a big family.
Has a convenience store attached to it as well as one across the road which is nice.
Close to tube station that gets you into Sapporo in 3 stops and Susukino is walkable under 10 minutes.
Recommended!
Helpful and friendly staff at both reception and car park.
The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable.
Good place to stay - nice park nearby plus plenty of shops and easy to walk most places. Rooms good and shower excellent.
Good hotel and well located. Staff were excellent and responsive to request. Hotel located 5 minutes walk from Nakajima-koen station (about 3 station away from Sapporo station). Staff like Chou (grew up in South Africa) and Mi-Young was helpful. Near enough to walk to Susukino area. Being a Silver Accor member helps as we get free coffee and early check in. Breakfast was value for money. There is a convenient store (Lawson) with access from hotel. Self laundry area and gym was available too. Will stay here again if ever in Sapporo.
Please stay away from this hotel, all the good Expedia reviews were bought. This is the worst experience I had in Japan. I accidentally booked the hotel via Expedia for smoking room, yes, I admit my mistake for not look carefully. Upon arrival, we checked in and stepped into a floor that you can’t even breathe. I mean it, it was not habitable. I went to ask the front desk to switch us to a non smoking room, the guy at front desk told me they don’t have anything available. I begged him to help look either in this hotel or nearby hotel. I travelled for hours from California with two kids and luggages and I need a place I can breathe and sleep in. He plainly refused to offer any help, just told me due to my booking error, they can do nothing and no refund either. Forget about the Japanese kindness, this guy, this Chinese speaking guy did not offer any help ( I am a Chinese and he spoke Chinese with me). I can’t believe it, he was not willing to offer any help for a single mom with two kids who does not speak Japanese here. I returned the keys and did not check in to this hotel, found a nearby hotel called MyStay, which was wonderful and staff was super kind and accommodating. That was the Japanese culture I knew. But this hotel is operated with Chinese culture, and I hate to say that if you look for any kindness and help, seek elsewhere. This experience put a dent in my wonderful Japan trip and I complained to Expedia. There is no way of the review ratings shown. All fake reciew
The property was average. I expected a lot more for the money spent.
Excellent
Spacious and nice location. Was able to take the airport limousine bus from and to the airport. It’s also eco-friendly. Would stay there again.
部屋が広くて快適に過ごせる。
すすきのまで歩いていける。
地下鉄から近い。
Excellent service, very friendly staff. We got a room for 4, with a bed each for every member. As Accor member, even had welcome drinks and late check out. The breakfast was delightful too. Very near to Nakajima Park which was a good walk for family, also walkable to shopping street.
What a lovely stay. Clean, comfortable and in the heart of the action!
