Alles vorhanden aber ohne wirkliche einprägsame Highlights
Pros:

Die Lage und Ausstattung des Hotel sind ok, das Haus wohl am besten für Reisende mit PKW geeignet, da die Wege zu einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten oder Restaurants, auch zum Supermarkt, schon relativ weit sind. Die in einem separaten Flügel des Gebäudes gelegenen Gastzimmer sind - bei geringer Belegung wie wir sie erlebt haben - sehr ruhig. Die Bauart des Hauses und Anordnung der Räume lässt darauf schließen, dass das bei voller Auslastung vermutlich anders sein wird. Das Frühstückbuffet ist dem Niveau entsprechend - alles vorhanden aber ohne wirkliche einprägsame Highlights. Der sehr freundliche und vertrauensvolle Betreiber scheint das Hotel erst vor nicht so langer Zeit übernommen zu haben und es renovieren zu wollen, was man an einigen Stellen sehen kann und dem Haus auch durchaus gut tun wird.

We booked the place specifically for the pool. Only when we went to find thr pool did we discover it was drained and closed

Personally wouldn't stay again due to the low standards of breakfast,

Room was comfortable enough could do with redecorating as there were next to no decor, pool was out of use and looks to be for a while.

Cons:

We paid for breakfast with our accommodation and were very disappointed with what was provided. We ate elsewhere both mornings. We paid for breakfast for convenience so we wouldn't have to go elsewhere but we unfortunately had to do just that. And we are not high maintenance people at all we are your most basic kiwis!
