Pros:

The staff are awesome, the location is great and the facilities are tidy and clean.

Cons:

The beds were hard as rock it was like I slept on the floor. The shower head was too low and not much pressure.
But overall was cheap to stay.

Overall I enjoyed my stay, rest and relax
Pros:

Having a verandah, security from the main entrance/ double lock on the door. A wide stairway to take up luggage.

Cons:

The bed was too firm. The ease of someone potentially entering through the verandah from next door on either side & leaving the window open for fresh air, as someone who visited on my own.
The drunk who returned at 1 am in the morning, where it echoes throughout the neighbourhood downstairs and in the stairwell. I chose, as advertised, a parking spot. I won't book that again, as it was standard parking, nothing special about it. There would be more than enough parking spaces, from what I observed downstairs in the parking lot. Old android TV-Veon with no internet platforms like Netflix, Youtube. Glad I took my macbook. Sky TV and sports, and a few channels are available.

Pros:

It was warm, friendly and the hospitality was excellent. The couple who owned the Hotel that's a 50% service and go a mile to help customers. This Hotel is on my family list.

For a centre to travel around from or just somewhere to relax for a few days it is hard to beat.
Pros:

Beautiful location, well equipped complex. Great breakfast handy for the beachfront.

Cons:

A little out of town. 5 minute drive but twenty minute walk to town centre.

Kindness can go a long way
Pros:

We were not able to make it up to paihia for our 4 night stay due to the severe weather. Although outside of our booking date, Howie the man, gave us a full refund. Most places would not have even with the circumstances. So my family and we're very greatful for his kindness and will plan to head back up when the time is right. If this is the type of kindness expected I assume the stay and service will be the same, Thank you Howie.

Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at the motel/resort. The location was excellent and made everything easy and convenient for us. The facilities were good and well looked after, and the breakfast was especially nice — really yum and a great way to start the day.
The rooms were comfortable and suited our needs well overall.

Cons:

The only downside for us was the beds, as they made us a bit itchy, which affected our sleep a little.
Aside from that, everything else was great and we appreciated the stay.
