Central, well catered and lovely staff with very average rooms
Pros:

Location and service were perfect.

Cons:

For the cost of a room, the room was very outdated. The grout in the bathroom was terrible. It definitely needs an overall maintenance upgrade and freshen up! The room was also very very basic. It was very spacious but didn't even have an armchair or a small couch or a coffee table. Spending almost $500 for 4 walls with 2 beds, and absolutely no touch to the rest of the room, makes the space absolutely uninviting. I understand it's very corporate, but for that price, our room was very very very basic, with a pokey, tiny, very old and poorly maintained bathroom. If it was Sydney, I could have justified the price maybe, but not in Newcastle. The fantastic service made up for it.

Pros:

From the moment the manager Brendan helped me out with a double booking I made which I thought U had cancelled.
All the staff I encountered were of great politeness and diligent in their work.
The dinner we had was excellent and the Philippino waitress was out standing

Location, location, location when you love the beach, bars & restaurants.
Pros:

Love the location and view from our room.
Comfy bed.

Cons:

The spa was out of order which was not mentioned at check in.
Questionable room cleaning as the hand soap was empty & I found a face cream on the floor from a previous guest.

Overall - Very Good.
Pros:

The location and the cleanliness of the room was amazing.

The facilities were somewhat good, and our family loved the location which is just a short walk to the beach.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we were excited to use the spa that t the hotel had. We were told that the spa had not been operational for a while now and they were awaiting approval, which it was disappointing.

Nice clean hotel with a great location a few minutes walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.
