Lovely overnight stay
Pros:

Gorgeous new facility. Clean room. Not enough easily access PowerPoints on the walls though. So close to the beach. Right time of the year to see the whales off onto the horizon.

Cons:

There were pigeons nesting, with an egg out the window.

The room did not have tooth brushes or tooth paste.
Previously in all hotels i have stayed those things are always part of the toiletries

Would stay again, lovely hotel
Pros:

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, location 2 minute walk from beach, spacious room and full and modern bathroom.

Cons:

Would have liked a mini bar for some snack options in our room. Parking a bit expensive ($30 per night and we stayed 2 nights).

Central, well catered and lovely staff with very average rooms
Pros:

Location and service were perfect.

Cons:

For the cost of a room, the room was very outdated. The grout in the bathroom was terrible. It definitely needs an overall maintenance upgrade and freshen up! The room was also very very basic. It was very spacious but didn't even have an armchair or a small couch or a coffee table. Spending almost $500 for 4 walls with 2 beds, and absolutely no touch to the rest of the room, makes the space absolutely uninviting. I understand it's very corporate, but for that price, our room was very very very basic, with a pokey, tiny, very old and poorly maintained bathroom. If it was Sydney, I could have justified the price maybe, but not in Newcastle. The fantastic service made up for it.
