We had breakfast at Denny's. It was really good.
No bottled water in the room.
It could be better if there was free breakfast.
There was no breakfast sadly. That would be convenient. At least some muffins and bagels. The hotel is clean and near lots of shopping and food. Checkin was quick.
We were given a room looking out onto a dingy rooftop. Maybe because we used a booking service for a better rate???
The kitchenette was nice. The coffee bar in the morning was nice to grab a quick coffee and head out.
There was a small housekeeping problem but it was rectified immediately.
The hotel and amenities and staff were excellent
There were hairs in the tub which were not mine and I didn’t shower there. The sink basin was split in half and the cupboard door had a hole in it. My husband paid $235 for me to have a night away and I think he would have been a little disappointed at the cleanliness/presentation of the room.
Very modern and clean. Security seemed good at hotel. Bathroom was very spacious and very good water pressure.
Heater was on blast and it was hot in the room

We often stay at the Sandman Hotel & Suites Calgary South on 11th St SE as they are a 2 minute drive from the VCA Animal Hospital.
We cannot say enough about the service that we receive every time that we go there. They allow dogs and always take the extra care to accommodate us making sure that our room is always near an exit, not just to ensure that other guests are not inconvenienced, but it truly makes it so much easier when you have an animal.
From the person at the front desk making the reservation, the person that cleans the room, to the person who is constantly cleaning those floors as well as management, the kindness and care that comes from every personnel is second to none.
The location is amazing. They are right behind IKEA in Calgary, there are restaurants within the hotel and within walking distance. Walmart, Costco and Superstore are a stone throw away.
If you do have a dog, the Sue Higgins Dog Park is a 5 minute drive from the hotel. The parking lot may be full, but once inside the dog park, it never seems like there are a lot of people because it is so big. So conveniently close to the Chinook Centre and so many other places. Easy to get on the highway and head to Banff
We have travelled a lot and we just love going back to this location. We highly recommend it.
We just spent the weekend there as we had to take our dog to see the dermatologist at the VCA hospital. We wanted to do a special mention to one of the employees working at the front desk who was absolutely amazing. His name is Shevaun (I hope that I am spelling that correctly). He did everything in his power to make our stay as comfortable as possible and accommodated us in every way possible. He found the time to talk to me and even genuinely laughed at my humour.
Thank you Shevaun, your outstanding service has not gone unnoticed.
Comfy bed, clean room, friendly staff
Location was great for us. Only a 10 minute drive to chinook centre. And right across the street from Ikea!
Nice having Denny’s and Moxies attached to hotel for convenience. The pool was very very basic and not very kid friendly. Relatively clean in the pool area. The room with kitchenette we stayed in quite small. Rooms are old and I found it to be quite dirty. The rug was so gross and almost sticky could feel it on my feet. Overall 3.5 stars I would say. Staff was friendly at front desk.

Зато стоит этот холодильник в гигантском шкафу который не несет никакой функциональной нагрузки. Микроволновка вообще была поломана как и замок в ванную комнату. Вентиляция грязная, ванная грязная.
