The wellness center with a turkish steambad, 2 saunas, a jacuzzi and a swimming pool is available on week days between 07:00 and 10:30 hrs and in the weekend between 07:00 and 12:00. You can fully relax for just 15.00€ per person per day
In the afternoon and evening, the wellness center can be rented privately in time frames of 2 hours as of 95 euro.

Directions: Please use your GPS to reach the nearest parking lot 'Q-Park Lamot', which is located in the Guldenstraat. Take the exit 'Spar' and you'll walk straight into the hotel.

Pros:

Great location. Excellent and friendly staff. Good spa. Parking nearby.

Cons:

The breakfast was very disappointing. There was hardly anything for my 14-year-old child to choose from. The fried egg was too undercooked, and there were no Belgian waffles at all. We had just come from a much cheaper hotel in Brussels where the breakfast was excellent, so the difference was enormous.

The windows could not be opened to let in any fresh air, while the air conditioning was very noisy. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and kept sliding out of place during the night. The duvets were too small, and there were no extra pillows.

We had considered extending our trip, but after such a sleepless two nights, we decided against it and moved on instead.

We also paid extra to have the room decorated for a birthday. The “decoration” consisted of just two small balloons, which was honestly ridiculous and very disappointing.

Pros:

Ontbijt was heel goed en uitgebreid, zeer vriendelijk personeel (mochten ook vroeger in kamer omdat deze al klaar was). Hotel ligt goed in het centrum en hebben ook hun eigen wandelroutes.

Aangenaam verblijf in Mechelen
Pros:

Ruimere, nette, aangename kamer en badkamer. Vriendelijk personeel. Perfectie bestaat niet, anders gaf ik een 10.
De wellness voor 15 € was heel aangenaam. Er was niemand dus we hadden de faciliteiten voor ons alleen.
Heerlijk ontbijt met ruime keuze. Men bakt een eitje à la minute op jouw verzoek.
Het restaurant Fuego is zeker ook een aanrader; het eten mag wel iets warmer geserveerd worden.

De enige opmerking die ik zou kunnen maken, gaat eerder over restaurant Fuego. Het eten is lekker, maar mocht iets warmer geserveerd worden.

Ondanks het ontbreken van een douche en het nachlawaai hadden we toch een fijn verblijf in Mechelen.
