Pros:

convenient location for city and airport. Good value accomodation.

Cons:

Staff seemed a little disorganized when we arrived, not as friendly as some places.
Kitchen equipment mismatched but functional.

It was a frustrating and hostile experience.
Cons:

For to a late flight arrival into Cairns, I did not arrive at the property until after 6pm. The reception was closed and a key was not left for my room. There was a phone available but it was not answered. Consequently I had no option but to find alternative accommodation for the night.
The next morning I returned to Tradewinds and when I walked into the office the receptionist said, ‘Yes?’
I explained the situation and she said, ‘Your booking is cancelled’. She then said, that I didn’t email them to say we were arriving late. In fact I had emailed.
The whole experience was lacking in courtesy and helpfulness.

good affordable option
Pros:

Had all the amenities we needed and was a good price (relatively lower than other properties)

Cons:

Location was a bit inconvenient, we had to walk a while to a bus stop and the route felt slightly unsafe at night

Basic accommodation, good location, served the purpose as we were out exploring for the most part of the day.
Pros:

It was nice to have a pool & location was good for walking to various things. Air con & fans in each room, great to have washing machine, dryer & clothes airer.

Cons:

Some more crockery would be good to use dishwasher more efficiently- only enough for 1 meal, short on spoons & no can opener. Oven was dirty & some kitchen things needed washing before using. BBQ didn’t work.

Appartement spacieux avec deux chambres. Climatisation dans l'ensemble des pièces et moustiquaires aux fenêtres permettant d'ouvrir le soir.

Cons:

La climatisation de fonctionnait pas très bien et les ustensiles de cuisines étaient bien fatigués
