Great place to stop on the queen charlotte track
Pros:

There was a minibus to take us up the hill to the start of our next days walk. The lounge and balcony and restaurants were very nice with good sea views. The free provision of kayaks was great. Accommodating early starts was great . The staff were very friendly and helpful

Cons:

Our room with a sea view actually had a building in front so we only had a partial view

The food was very ordinary and limited. The place looked a bit tired and the entranced to the resort looked like it needed a good sweep. First impressions are lasting.

Thank you to all the staff for looking after us so well after a weary day on the bike!
Pros:

An oasis along the beautiful Queen Charlotte Track. Stunning views, staff were all excellent, very friendly and looked after is brilliantly.

Cons:

Only comment would be the walls are very thin and the person in the next room was on a phone call at 4.30am and we could hear every word of his conversation.

THe hotel was warm and inviting, the views were amazing from lodge, rooms, restaurant. The staff were wonderful trying to make our stay as nice as possible.

A great place to stay for a few days along the QCT.
Pros:

The location along the QCT was ideal and it has a sunny aspect most of the day. The beach is easily accessed and fun for swimming or kayaking. The restaurant offered a delicious choice of meals.

Cons:

Our bathroom was very tired and the pool area small and uninviting.

Lage, Aussicht

Cons:

Anfahrt mit gesperrter Straße. Nur enges Zeitfenster offen. Mitteilung kam ein Tag vor Ankunft. Dadurch wurde der weitere Ablauf der Reise behindert.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt mitten in den Marlborough Sounds
Pros:

Diese Unterkunft ist eine Idylle pur. Wir haben es so genossen.
Das Personal extrem nett, das Essen total lecker und man hat das Wasser für sich allein zum Kajak fahren.
Nach 4 Wochen Roadtour Neuseeland haben wir hier richtig die Seele baumeln lassen können. Nur zu empfehlen

Cons:

Die Anfahrt hierher ab Havelock ist müßig per Auto. Man sollte sich, hier angekommen, nichts weiter vornehmen mit dem Auto.
Das ist eher informativ und keine Wertung für die Unterkunft!

Comfortable room, super friendly staff, great view and location. Very much appreciated to shuttle back onto the QC Track the next morning. Ate at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast - food very good and large portions. The cost was on the higher end, but still reasonable given the remote location. Highly recommend all of it!

Pros:

Amazing view. Nice trails.

Cons:

This is not 4 star resort. Even not 2 stars. Old rooms with cockroaches. Very bad food in restaurant. Looks like transit point for hikers. Cold pool and noisy teenagers singing up to 2AM night.
