An oasis in Tuscany. We traveled from the US with friends who had been here 6 years ago and loved it, and recommended we stay here on this trip. I am so glad we did! We stayed for 3 days and it was such a treat. Upon entering the property you pass through charming stone walls, only to pull up to the most beautiful building surrounded by trees, flowers, and a beautiful landscape. During our stay we enjoyed every meal on site - it truly impressed us. Many hotels in the US encourage you to eat dinner at their property and it’s not good. We were tired when we arrived and ended up having dinner and it was so good that we had every single meal onsite after that! Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool was very quiet despite it being so popular. After a week of busy day trips we enjoyed lounging by the pool, reading and relaxing. Throughout our stay the owners were present but respected privacy. Making sure we were welcomed and sharing bits about what we can enjoy here without intruding. They clearly love what they do, and are talented at it. The staff worked very hard. From housekeepers to cooking staff. If you stay - enjoy the wild boar, beef tenderloin, and tiramisu. I will be dreaming of the meal for days!
Thank you Villa Le Barone! This was such a wonderful treat.
Lovely setting, very peaceful and restful.
Breakfast and dinner were very good, with fresh local ingredients.
Charming environment and furnishings with old world feel.
Honor system for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Driving to the villa through very narrow passage between stone walls. Very stressful.
The parking lot was locked at some point in the evening, without warning.
Prices for drinks and snacks relatively high, I would would have preferred to pay a little more for the room and less for the extras.
The atmosphere and the pool were highlights. The whole place felt special and authentic.
No restaurante colocam restrições quanto ao tipo de roupa para frequentar.
Não tem TV no quarto
Villa Le Barone is very familiar for us since we have been there maybe 10 times ... so we like Villa Le Barone a lot.
Everything was very good ...
This place is so special. The property is stunning and will bring you peace. The women who work here are so wonderful, kind, and truly make this place so special. Our time here consisted of calm and relaxing breakfasts on property, pool during the day, & freshly made lunch on property. We loved our stay and already miss the staff who poured so much love into our little family.
This establishment is very professional, courteous, and accommodating. 10/10 experience and we hope to make it back someday.
The most beautiful spot we stayed in Tuscany. Pool was lovely, gardens well maintained and gorgeous, the property itself was stunning.
Upon check in, we were told for our one night stay that no power or water would be available from 8am. Being told ahead of time for a planned outage would have allowed us to plan accordingly. You also have to pay for basics like coffee and tea from a machine which should be included in the prices of these rooms. Service also a little slow at dinner (had to ask three times for our beverages). Also we were told Tennis court was booked when we turned up when nothing says this online - try book ahead if interested in playing.
Lime and olive trees, lavender, jasmine and abundant butterflies and bees are part of the villa’s magic, as are the great staff, family owners, food, wine and authentic historic Tuscan atmosphere. Thank you once again for a great holiday.
The property was charming, spacious, quiet and beautiful! There was everything you need for a relaxing break- pool, many sitting areas, views of nature, wine, cocktails, tennis and delicious food. Rooms has an air conditioner, if you want to hide from hotness. Only 20 min walk to Panzano city. Also good place to travel with kids!
The pool area, the gardens, the rooms with the rustic Tuscan features. We had the opportunity to have dinner with the Count, which was a memorable part of the trip. The food that the Chef made was very very good. I found the staff helpful and friendly. The snack bar in the pool area was a nice touch.
I provided some feedback that my mattress was on the harder side and it was promptly resolved with a mattress topper.
