Please note the Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa is completely nonsmoking.

The spa opening hours are as follows:
Monday – Friday: 06:30 until 22:00
Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays: 08:00 until 20:00


Children's swimming times are as follows:
Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays: 08:00 until 09:00 and 18:00 – 19:30.
During school holidays, 7 days a week: 08:00 until 09:00 daily

To use the swimming pool facilities during 10 am and 6 pm you need to book a 2 hours pool session in advance with the property.

No lifeguard will be present at the pool area.

The property has strict child supervision policies in place.

Lovely location and very clean but the stay felt very basic. I would probably not stay there again.
Pros:

The golf course is very nice, staff were helpful.

Cons:

No water in the rooms, products in the room were not great. For the price of the room, I would expect rooms that provide more comfort

Being put next to a family in our room when it’s such a large hotel. Also not to be told functions were going on in the restaurant and bar area it was packed

Pros:

Nice room at reasonable cost and good restaurant- good that golfers eat separate to spa break guests

Cons:

TV didn’t work properly and staff did look at but clearly didn’t know any more than me and seemed disinterested, that was very disappointing given the money we had paid for the room.

Loved it! I can’t wait to come back.
Pros:

A beautiful setting with a mix of relaxing opportunities to enjoy a swim and spa or enjoy a round of golf. Great weekend for couples. Very attentive/polite staff throughout.

An excellent hotel and location.
Pros:

I have just returned from a four nights stay at The Stoke by Nayland Resort. I took 30 people on a tour round Suffolk, our party consisted of very seasoned travellers, who all were delighted with the hotel. The service was excellent, rooms were spotless and well furnished.

We had a set menu and the choices were very good and the food was well presented and hot. I have taken this group to over 14 locations and this was definitely amongst the best we have stayed in.

The mystery to me is why it is only a four star on Trip Advisor, although with the number of reviews you are bound to some complaints.
