Raheen Woods Hotel

From arrival and after paying over €220 for B&B for 1 night, everything about this hotel was 2-3 star at best.

Food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. Only issue was room temperature was too warm and we couldn’t get the heat turned off. Staff did try to resolve issue. They were helpful; brought us a fan, which helped.

Very clean and a little dated.Old USB outlets and one electrical outlet in the room. Breakfast was very basic and underwhelming. Staff was great and bar/restaurant was a 7 out of 10

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Hotel had a number of seating areas for a quiet space to read a book! We would return again.

Lovely staff. Food really good in the bar. Room very spacious even though I booked a single and bed very comfortable. Easy carparking.
Would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. Was travelling on my room and the choice of TV channels was limited.
Swimming pool excellent size so you can do some proper lane swimming

We spent 2 nights here and had dinner on two nights we were 2 adulfs and two kids the facilities the rooms and the staff were excellent i would give this hotel 10 out of 10 and will definitely be back again

Great hotel, great room!

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pool had plenty of space and has family changing rooms. The bar food was lovely. The room was so hot but during the night i went to reception and the porter gave me 2 fans so we all slept well after that.

Check in was fine evening meal was nice service was a bit hit and miss first of the breakfast was burnt second days breakfast was fine overall wasn't a bad stay

The check in was easy and staff friendly. One thing that their website does not state is, if you want to use their pool you mandatorily need a hair cap. If you dont have one, you can buy one from a few Euros.

The breakfast buffet was sub par, but the staff was excellent. I would like to call out Detty, she was exceptional and made our breakfast experience 10times better!

This is a comfortable, friendly place to stay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good - definitely worth trying! The gym is well-equipped and the staff there were, again, friendly and helpful.
The only slight disappointment was the breakfast. It was the standard buffet style, which is fine. However, the fresh fruit offerings were meagre - a few slices of melon the first morning, nothing but the tinned fruit offerings the next. I would have liked if the eggs were cooked fresh / to order, rather than just the scrambled or fried eggs that were provided on the hot plate.
Overall, however, I would definitely recommend Raheen Woods Hotel and will, I’m sure book to stay there again when I’m visiting family in the area.

A great place to stay with your family, or if you need a layover for business. Great facilities, and cleanliness to boot.

Overall we were pleased with the hotel.
Rated quite highly in most areas.
