A very pleasant stay in this beautiful historic hotel.
Pros:

A warm welcome at this attractive historic hotel within easy walking distance of the town. My room was a good size with a well stocked refreshment tray. Breakfast- plenty of choice and tasted great. The staff were also friendly.

Cons:

As an old building the floor of my room was understandably uneven/ sloping in places. I needed to take care when walking around.. not a criticism.
The stairs were steep, with twists and a narrow tread. There were two handrails which I made use of. This was due to the age of the building and was in character. Care needed and staff offered to carry my case.

Pros:

Tenia parking i bona ubicació. L'esmorzar estava molt bo i les zones comuns estaven molt bé.

Cons:

Quirky accommodation with very welcoming staff.
Pros:

The room was delightful and a little quirky. Luckily I’m only 5ft 2 so I didn’t bump my head but it would have been problematic for someone much larger. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Facilities such as the bottled water and kettle/tea & coffee were thoughtful. As warned before we booked there are quite a few stairs to navigate but that wasn’t an issue for me.
All the staff were very polite and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble.

Cons:

I’d prefer the continental breakfast to be a buffet style rather than by request so I can choose the amount etc. The fruit salad portion was rather large. The cooked breakfast was very good.

Pros:

Locality and outside areas really good. Bed was very comfortable but some of the room decor was tired. Restaurant and bar very nice.
Breakfast very good.

Cons:

As with all old builds you are limited to what you can do with room layout but some of the workmanship needs attention but other than that enjoyed our stay

Great stay
Pros:

This hotel far exceeded my expectation. I booked a single room but found to my delight that it was a spacious twin room on the 2nd floor and very quiet. Lovely bathroom too. The proprietors were friendly and helpful with ideas of places to visit. My bag was carried upstairs for me as the stair case was quite narrow and steep.
I loved the breakfast as there was a good variety of options and all freshly cooked. The coconut porridge was delicious.
The bed was very comfortable, there were lots of storage spaces, hairdryer, bible and good selection of tea and coffee plus glass bottles of still water.
Such a lovely weekend stay. I will definitely be back!.

Cons:

I felt uncomfortable sitting at a table on my own in the centre of the room on the 2nd morning....I would have preferred to have been at the side of the room (less conspicuous) but they were all for couples.

Great find
Pros:

Smashing boutique hotel in centre of town with lots of free parking. Friendly and attentive staff throughout. Breakfast cooked to order and some nice touch menu items such as ginger and turmeric shots. 'Home made' dinner menu was of high quality and the spotted dick with creme Anglaise and clotted cream ice cream was the nicest pudding I have ever eaten. Would defo stay again.

Great bolt-hole for exploring the Cotswolds
Pros:

Traditional property with plenty of character. Perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds and the town of Cirencester, with ample parking. The family room was quirky with low beams everywhere, but spacious and perfectly adequate for my young family during our short stay. The breakfast had plenty of options for every taste and the staff both at breakfast and dinner were attentive and accommodating.

Cons:

Somewhat dated, would have preferred a more modern interior, but the property's character makes up for this. For a short stay, this is not a problem, but might become tiresome for longer stays.

A charming, family run hotel in the heart of Cirencester, with excellent food.
Pros:

The staff were all fantastically friendly and helpful. The fixed price three-course dinner (£30 for yhree courses) was very good value and excellent.

Cons:

The bedroom was very nice but, for the price, smaller and slightly less well-appointed than other hotels we have stayed in around the Cotswolds.

Pros:

Willingness of the manager to relocate us to one of the two ground floor rooms as we are both elderly and both staircases are steep. Convenient well-spaced dining room and bar area.. Rear car park. Well-equiped room.

Cons:

Support of one of the single beds. Very restricted access to small en-suite shower.

The Corinium is an excellent base for visiting the Cotswolds
Pros:

The Corinium Hotel is a lovely hotel. Its position in the centre of Cirencester make the purfect choice for the traveller visiting the Cotswolds. The service and food is first class and the addition of its own carpark is a great advantage as most hotels and towns have a massive parking problem because of us tourists. The Corinium was built in 1595 and for this reason its historic importance makes it impossible to make major improvements and for the older tourists, we found the stairs to our room a challenge. We chose our room but have since learnt rooms are available which we will request on our next visit, our third. Thank you everyone at the Corinium for another wonderful stay. CA Barry
