The location was near many of the main attractions on the Gold Coast (Sea World, Broadwater, Surfers Paradise). Staff were friendly and responsive. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Price was excellent during peak season of January.
On a main road made it a little noisy at times, but the location was not a surprise.
Very clean
Across the road from the beach
It’s very dated and feels old. The elevator is tiny.
We liked looking at the water and that the boat ramp and bait shop is close. The parking was also great with plenty of room.
Seeing traffic coming out was just a bit hard, but to be expected
Absolute lovely clean well equipped apartment with nice pool and car parking .
Bus stop close by and 10/15 minute walk for the tram
All was good
Thr staff werr amazing. Very kind and caring.
The lobby was very stuffy
The staff were very friendly and accommodating in getting us checked in. The room was clean and well maintained and the price was good considering we booked last minute.
Aqualine was just what my wife and I were after over New Year. Our apartment was so clean and comfortable and the staff so accommodating, they went out of their way to get us into our apartment early after a long drive from Sydney. We ate at 2 Southport restaurants within walking distance that were excellent, and the 704 bus within 50m took us to Sea World, Main Beach restaurants and Australia Fair in minutes. As grandparents the one dinner trip to central Surfers was more than enough as Timezone wasn’t on my to do list. Southport again next time for us👍
Nothing
Opted for the Balcony upgrade, waterview. Room was clean, fresh smell as soon as you entered, decor was perfect, was really nice to see well known brand names appliances and even have decent dinnerware & utensils. All in working order - that was a bonus for us! Soundproof! Could not hear any activity from the room beside us unless you were out in the corridor. Traffic noise wasn't annoying either. We were indeed pleasantly surprised with everything and perfect for short or long term stay!
Bathroom was a let down for us. Shower head was on the smaller side and pressure was minimal. We weren't able to switch it to use the spa bath - assuming it was jammed/stuck? Shower partition screen did get stuck on the bath rim but thankfully we could undo it without any breakage.
Beds were quite firm for our liking but that's a personal preference on our end and we coped with it.
