We booked the Atlantic View Boutique Hotel last minute, and I am so unbelievably grateful that we did!
When we arrived, Rebecca welcomed us with the warmest smile, offered us drinks, and invited us to sit outside and enjoy the sunset. Within minutes, we felt calm, welcomed and completely at ease.
Wadin then gave us a tour of the hotel, again with the warmest smile, and made us feel instantly at home by being genuine, personable and helpful. Wano parked our car, brought up our drinks, and treated us to the delicious canapes. Every single interaction felt genuine and thoughtful.
Our room was an absolute dream with the comfiest bed, a beautiful private patio, an incredible rain shower, and a personal welcome message.
Breakfast the next morning was colourful, fresh and the perfect start to the day.
We loved our experience so much that we’ve already booked to return tomorrow for another four nights! I have never stayed anywhere so welcoming, calming and joyful. The views are stunning, the rooms are beautiful, but it’s the staff who truly make this place special. Rebecca, Wadin and Wano went above and beyond for us. They were so accommodating, attentive, and it felt they truly cared about us, and making our holiday special. From securing a last minute reservation at a popular restaurant, to arranging an additional four nights at short notice, and anticipating what we might need before we had thought of it ourselves, the service was exceptional.
We can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we can’t wait to be back!
We were spending two wonderful days at this amazingly beautiful boutique hotel - with views you will never forget! Our stay included a fabulous Valentine's dinner that has been so very special - especially as the hotel team is committed to make your visit an unforgettable memory! We will surely come back.
I have just arrived back from a 3-night stay at the Atlantic view, and indeed found the experience to be generally positive. The hotel overlooks the Campus Bay, offering top-of-the-hill views, 2 beautiful infinity-pools, and plenty of sun-beds for all. The staff here were also fantastic, polite, and evidently hard-working people (the stand-out for us being Wano, a great guy!). Another notable feature is the hotel’s bar area, offering free wine between 7pm & 9pm and a chance to meet some lovely people. We stayed in Room 1 (in the top-left-hand corner), providing stunning views and a lovely room. That said, we didn’t get much sleep - the wind in Camps Bay can be fearsome and on 2 out of 3 of our nights we hardly slept at all due to its extreme noise. What was the greater disappointment for us, however, is our issue with the rooms on the last day of our stay. We emailed the owner beforehand and asked if we could have a late check-out of the room or if the hotel had a shower facility, as we were on the BA flight at 10pm (we were leaving at 6pm but had to check out of the room at 11am). The reply informed us that our room had been booked up and that the owner only had the Royal Suite available (at a cost of £450), meaning we had no choice but to pay for it before we left the UK as it was the last room. The room wasn’t ready until 1pm, and we had to leave at 6pm, meaning we only were in the room for 5 hours (in order to have a shower and organise ourselves). You could understand how disappointed I was, then, that at the property we found they had a shower in the reception toilet which would have easily sufficed for such purposes after spending the day at the pool. This disappointment was enhanced by the fact that (seemingly) nobody turned up to our old room by the time we left at 6pm, so we could have just showered in there as originally planned. Therefore, we essentially paid an additional £450 for a shower which could have been taken for free in the reception. This undeniably left me quite disheartened. As you can see by my other reviews, I’m not one to leave negative reviews at all - but TripAdvisor is there to help other people with honest, unbiased opinions, and critique is often necessary for improvement.
Camera, vista, cortesia del personale
Booked the Penthouse suite for a 5 night stay. For 3 nights we had no AC. Prepaid for the room. On departure we were told there would be no gesture made, but the room was taken off availability as it could not be sold. Reflects very poorly when a hotel treats a guest like this when AC was key to a good nights sleep. Do not prepay in full as if there is a problem you will not be treated fairly
beautiful views all around the property breakfast tin the room was a wonderful experience and the staff were all incredibly helpful
Nothing
Just back from sunny South Africa where we spent 10 days at the Atlanticview Hotel (Camps Bay) Capetown. We have holidayed here every January since 2023, and we simply cant believe the feeling we experience every year when we walk into reception ! The view is breath taking and the welcome is heart warming. This hotel is so luxurious, so clean, and the location is unreal ! To the front you have uninterupted panoramic views, over the beautiful Camps Bay, to the horizon on the so blue Atlantic ocean ! Behind you you can watch the cable car running up and down from the majestic Table Mountain ! Look to your right and watch hang gliders launch themselves off the Lions Head, a magnificent peak ! To your left is the awsome range of mountain peaks called The Twelve Apostles ! It is so so nice to sit out by one of the 2 pools (one being an infinity pool) with a glass of wine to watch the amazing sunsets ! It is so peaceful and quiet at Atlanticview, yet you are only a short walk from the sea front/beach and the bars/restaurants of one of South Africas most beautiful villages. At Alantiview the staff spoil us no-end. Nothing is too much trouble........the answer is never ''no.'' They genuinely enjoy making you feel special. We always wonder how Greg (owner) managed to pick such a fantastic team !!! Food is simply delicious, preparation and attention to detail, impeccable ! Roll on 2027 👍🍻
Over the many years on trip advisor I have talked about finding my favourite hotel How fickle I am because I have once again found my ‘ new favourite hotel’ this is a very special hidden gem. High in the hills above camps bay. I don’t know how I found it but there it was on my phone. I decided to book direct and not through booking. Com. Good move. The owner Greg Boki actually phoned me back. He took everything into consideration and booked it all perfectly. There wasn’t a room for my daughter on the 4th night so he suggested she moved to our room and sleep in the sofa bed. Which we agreed to. However when it came to the 4th night they moved her into the exquisite Royal suite. It was stunning. Every room we saw in the 9 bedroom hotel was beautiful. We had a sea view room with a small lounge and 2 sun beds outside the room. There are two beautiful pools all over looking the amazing views of camps bay. It’s about a 40 minute walk down to the beach.
And now to the staff. We have found staff in all the restaurants to be warm and friendly but here it’s another level. Rebecca met us as we arrived like we’re friends returning. Luticia (I think) was so lovely and explained everything about the hotel in detail. We opted to have breakfast in our rooms, which arrived on a tray with rose petals on it. I asked if I they had raspberry jam. They didn’t but they went and got my favourite Bonne maman they went above and beyond in every way. We ate in the hotel on the first night and it was perfect. They even let us have a late check out. We can’t recommend it highly enough. We certainly hope to come back again.
Great location and Atlantic view was fantastic.
1.) Not enough staffs .. same waiter at restaurant also doubles as house keeper.
2.)You only get a bottle of complimentary for two guests throughout your 4 day stay.
3.) it takes the kitchen 48 minutes to get an omelette ready.
This beautiful boutique hotel is for me a must when I am in the region. I have been here multiple times, both business and with my family. They did not disappoint me. In fact they surprise me everytime. The hotel and staff is getting better and better. I can really recommend AtlanticView when you are in Capetown.
Everything, absolutely everything.

The Atlantic View Cape Town Boutique tesm took wonderful care of us!
We felt so special. The breakfasts were amazing! We felt like royalty!
This hotel provides transportation from the airport, to the awesome wineries, to the Aquila Game Reserve and also provided rides for us to the Mantra Cafe.
The surprise entertainment on Wednesday with teaching us how to play the African drums, serving unique and delicious appetizers and sparkling bubbly was over the top!
We had so much fun!
If we ever come back to Cape Town, we will definitely stay at The Atlantic View Cape Town. My family is still talking about the excellent service, cleanliness, and your friendly and caring team.
Thank you again, .
Amazing experience. Staff at the hotel were so kind and accommodating. Only place to stay in Cape Town!

Our family stayed at the Atlanticview for three nights over Christmas 2025. We booked Suite 7, “The Royal Suite”. It was one of the best hotel experiences of our life having traveled for decades and staying in many 5-star resorts. The hotel is surrounded by a trifecta of stunning vistas: the dramatic cliff backdrop of Table Mountain at the rear; the cobalt blue Atlantic Ocean at the front; and the majesty of Lion’s Head to the right. Located in the Camps Bay neighborhood, it felt exclusive and private yet easily accessible to all parts of the city. No stone was left unturned when it comes to quality and attention to detail. Prior to arrival, Greg & team provided exemplary concierge service to ensure an optimal experience in Cape Town and travels onward. This continued during our stay as the team scrambled to secure our family a booking for Table Mountain due to last minute changes and during peak season. Upon arrival, check-in was warm and personal. Following a personal tour of the property, we arrived at our room: an impressive space with floor to ceiling windows and glass doors that open to a private deck with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Lion’s Head. We were greeted with a welcome note from Greg & team and a chilled bottle of sparkling wine adorned with rose petals. The suite is spacious and luxuriously decorated with quality furniture, fixtures, and art. The bathroom is huge, decked with quality stone and a heated floor, and local luxury toiletries were stocked. A delicious full breakfast was served in our room and was a feast for the eyes as much for the tongue, including custom coffee drinks, artisan bread & pastries, fresh fruit platter, yoghurt, and charcuterie creatively constructed to look like petit fours from a Parisian bakery. The platter was arranged artistically and adorned with a red rose, so beautiful we didn’t want to disturb it, but so delicious we ravaged it! Complimentary canapés were served during happy hour in the restaurant which we enjoyed with a delicious glass of Chenin Blanc from Stellenbosch. The timing was perfect for watching the sunset. The bar staff (as with all the staff) were warm and authentic and connected with us on a level that was genuinely warm and personable. The whole experience felt like staying with family and friends at a luxury home, not a hotel. All in all an amazing and unforgettable experience.
After a fabulous stay in 2024 we returned with 2 other couples in early November 2025 and were lucky to have great weather.
We booked several months early to secure the 3 adjacent suites the Royal, Infinity and Ocean. We felt as if we were in a private villa relaxing by the pool each day. We all had breakfast on the balcony of the Royal suite. The breakfast is superb with fruit, fresh bakery and limitless cooked options. Each evening we enjoyed the sunset at happy hour and on two evenings ate in the hotel restaurant where the quality and freshness of the food is excellent, though preorder is advisable for full choice.
The customer service is outstanding led by Justine and her team. The team is so friendly and helpful in arranging trips, restaurants and ensuring a stress free stay.
I have stayed in many boutique hotels and this is among the best.

It is always a pleasure to stay at AtlanticView, this is our fourth time and we have already booked a return visit. You can be assured of a relaxing vacation with pleasant staff and the views are to die for. The breakfasts are fantastic and all the staff are so attentive.Do not forget to join in the evening social (1900-2100) of free canapés and drinks as this brings other residents together and helps create a wonderful ambiance to match the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.
