It was good solely because of the room itself and the area outside the hotel.
Pros:

.The room was large, very beautiful, and spacious. The bathroom was a dream, and the hotel is stunning. Very clean
The place is great. The view is stunning, and there are plenty of restaurants in the area

Cons:

The reception staff's service was poor; I barely received any explanations, and they were impatient. The listing stated there was a pool, but I discovered it was actually just a tiny rooftop wading pool—about a meter and a half in size—and an indoor pool that was usually closed.

A beautiful and luxurious hotel with spectacular sea views. Rooms were spacious with elegant deco. Bathrooms were modern and luxurious. Buffet breakfast was amazing, will definitely return to this hotel.

Loved the hotel- very clean, loved the bathroom-very spacious Excellebtvlocation . Would stay there again .
Pros:

Property is in great location, breakfast was excellent! Our stay was very comfortable. Staff at the breakfast place were extremely accommodating and friendly- made our mornings and start to the day very pleasant.

Cons:

Staff at the front desk can be a little more friendly. They seemed very annoyed.

Tolle Lage, in die Jahre gekommen, nicht perfekter Service

Das Restaurant Caruso ist toll. Hervorragendes Menü, fantastische Lage

Cons:

3 Tage keine Handtücher- trotz Reklamation. Das geht in einem Leading Hotel garnicht.

Indoorpool ist in einem Nebengebaeude im Souterrain
Man wird ca 500 m durch wendeltreppen und aufzug gefuehrt um in einem kelleraryigen pool zu landen
Outdoor exisistiert nicht!!

Old fashioned charm still exists at the Grand Hotel Vesuvio.
Pros:

I actually don't want to say too much, I want to keep it a secret, but it was exquisite. Everything from the staff to the facilities, to the attention to detail. It reminded me of the Hassler in Rome ..... old fashioned hospitality. When it wasn't about the money but about the experience. Loved loved loved our stay.

Cons:

We should have stayed longer.

Grand Hotel Vesuvio was exceptional from the minute we arrived at check in , greeted so warmly by their staff, and an unexpected surprise with a room upgrade with a beautiful balcony view of the city and sea,thank you. Concierge service to our room was also excellent along with a lovely gift box presented for us , good luck charm and delicious lemon cookies. The Rooftop Restaurant service and presentation was fantastic, Giovani, Valentino , Gaia and their Somalia service was exceptional. Dinner course was well presented in a timely manner. Laundry service & room service deserves (10).This Hotel feels like the Waldorf Astoria of Napoli. Highly recommended for the best central Location to multiple restaurants along the ocean front and family friendly activities .
