RUDE STAFF
Pros:

Had a reservation for the roof top bar Caruso, walked in to a rude gentleman just saying FULL
Needless to say we left, personally don’t care about loosing the deposit
I WILL NOT be spoken down to and upon returning would never book this hotel due to this experience
No need for rudeness

A grande dame of a hotel with beautiful views and a wonderful and warm team of staff.
Pros:

Beautifully located on the water. The port is an easy walk, as is the rest of the city. Smart, old-school luxury, with attentive and warm hospitality. Topped off with a breakfast of dreams (nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast team are adorable) and incredible views.

Cons:

If the price of the drinks in the roof bar were a little cheaper, we’d have had a drink there every day. 25€ for a cocktail and 36€ for a club sandwich is a little steep. But that won’t stop us coming back.
