Locatie was uitstekend en heerlijk dat er een parkeerplaats bij was.
Abbiamo apprezzato l'accoglienza e la disponibilità del personale, la pulizia della camera e gli arredi. La colazione è piuttosto assortita e risulta gradevole sia per i piatti dolci che per quelli salati. La posizione dell'hotel consente di raggiungere facilmente a piedi tutte le attrazioni del centro storico.
Sebbene molto pregiati perché appartenenti a un celebre marchio francese, i flaconcini di shampoo e di bagnoschiuma non erano mai sufficienti e non venivano riassortiti ogni giorno, tanto che abbiamo dovuto acquistare un bagnoschiuma.
Everything about it was great.
I really love this place. The staff are so helpful and friendly and just know how to provide good service. We booked a basic room and it felt luxurious. The beds are comfortable, the air con works well and you can adjust it. Everything works as it should. There's plenty of space for our two carry-on bags. The shower pressure and hot water were good. The towels and linen is lovely. The decor is lovely. The location is great - it's a 5 min walk to the historic centre of Ancona. A 5-10 min drive to the port to catch a ferry. There's onsite vallet parking (for a fee). There's a lift and a porter for your luggage. We enjoyed the breakfast options - the food is fresh, delicious. You can have freshly cooked eggs or pancakes on request, there's a selection of fresh cakes and pastries, cold meats and cheeses, fruits etc. There are some GF options too but you may need to discuss these options with the hotel before booking. For us, this place is a bit of a treat and we try and stay here when we are going to Ancona and it's within our budget.
Really there's nothing to dislike but I'll mention some things where there's room for improvement, really not deal breakers ... maybe a few more hanging hooks in the bathroom - for example I had nowhere to hang the bidet towels in our bathroom but that might be different in other rooms; when it comes time to get new tv's please allow guests to be able to access their own streaming services and things like YouTube on the tv.

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Palace. The room was cozy and very clean, with a beautiful sea view. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The location was also perfect for us.
The only thing that bothered us was the noise from neighboring rooms and the corridor. We could sometimes hear people talking, children running, and noise from the hallway. The soundproofing could be a little better.
Despite this, we would happily stay here again and can definitely recommend the hotel.
