Eine tolle Unterkunft insgesamt.
Pros:

Andy ist ein sehr sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Sein Frühstück ist excellent!

Cons:

Die Lage an der Straße. Nicht viel Verkehr aber er ist zu hören.

Would strongly recommend Lupton Lodge.
Pros:

Lovely old house with such character and lovely orchard gardens. We had a great stay and enjoyed dinner each night that our host Andy offers. Thanks for the towels for our day use as well.

Great
Pros:

Host Andy was welcoming, cooked us a great dinner even with last minute booking. Also a great breakfast. Interesting, expansive rooms. And a very friendly cat!

Ein fantastisches Abendessen!!
Pros:

Die kleine Unterkunft liegt mitten auf dem Land, obwohl die Hauptstraße direkt daneben verläuft. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und befand sich im Dachgeschoss mit Fenstern, durch die man vom Bett aus die unzähligen Sterne sehen konnte (es gibt Verdunkelungsvorhänge, falls man das bevorzugt).
Andy, der Besitzer, bietet auf Wunsch auch Abendessen an. Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen und ich muss sagen, dass wir es nicht bereut haben: Andy ist ein hervorragender Koch und wir haben zu einem sehr guten Preis ausgezeichnet gegessen.
Zum Frühstück gibt es ein kleines Buffet und ein warmes Gericht mit Eiern, die auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet werden.

A lovely place, with nice hosts, but let down by choices which could be easily remedied.
Pros:

Breakfast location, food and service was excellent!

Cons:

Entry was via the bathroom/toilet, off the verandah. We noticed that there was a door from the bedroom leading onto the central hallway, this would have been a preferable entrance. The bedroom and furnishings were of good standard. However the lounge was a let down. It was furnished with items that should have been sent to an op shop. These included an old single bed, indifferently covered. The surrounding gardens were lovely, except there was a badly neglected pool which was looking very slimy.

Great host delicious breakfast.
Pros:

Host was great. Amazing breakfast. Grounds and location very nice.

Cons:

This is a historic house. The room we stayed in had an odd layout with the entrance leading you into the bathroom first. The bed was comfy but very squeaky. The walls are not soundproof, could hear everything going on in the room next to ours.

So good we stayed there twice!
Pros:

Our renovated room in a barn was really spacious and comfortable with a a lovely outlook. Andy our host was incredibly friendly and helpful with advice about the region.
