Hanover Inn Dartmouth

Amazing hotel, wonderful view and lovely staff.

Our family enjoyed a lovely four night stay at the Hanover Inn. The room was spacious and comfortable and the location can’t be beat.

Great location for visiting Dartmouth College. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Good dining options in town. Walkable town.

Arriving at the hotel was stressful, as we had to pull into a very small unloading area from a busy city street. Then we had to pay a $34 parking fee for a valet to move our car to another parking lot. After we got settled in, we had a delightful stay.

I graduated from Dartmouth in 1988 but this was my first stay at the Hanover Inn. No longer a poor student, I thought it was finally time. It was a comfortable stay and I do not regret not camping with some of my classmates at a mini-reunion. It was nice to have a clean and cool room and shower to come back to and a comfortable bed to seep in.

The property is the most convenient if you want to be near Dartmouth campus, but it is grossly overpriced. I would not stay at this hotel again and will seek a more distant option.

Beautiful, comfortable room. Great food and beverages in the restaurant - Pine. Valet parking was smooth and prompt at a very busy time. I called a couple of things to the attention of the front desk and a light bulb and slow drain were fixed right away.

Great location, excellent staff, clean rooms. Only downside was the fitness center, seemed like an afterthought. Would have like a little more room than a closet.

We located the hotel from the King Arthur Flour web site. My wife attended a class to make pretzels, at King Arthur and I tagged along and worked while she made pretzels.
The hotel is strategically located on the corner of the downtown main street across from Dartmouth's main green space. When we pulled into the hotel and left the car for the valet, we were warmly greeted by several staff members.
When we checked in the hotel there was a hot plate of sugar and chocolate chip cookies. The hotel check-in process was extremely fast and efficient. The front desk manager provided us directions to our room and as we began to walk to our room, the valet asked us if we had left the key in the car.
I remembered handing the key to the valet but after several minutes of looking for the key, the valet noticed he did have the key in his pocket.
After having a panic attack thinking we lost the rental car key, the rest of the check in went well.
The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. The bathroom is also spacious and clean too. The shower had great power and there were no issues with the hot water.
The only issue we had with the room was the air conditioner made a large screeching sound when we dropped the thermostat, to cool the room off. We encountered the loud air conditioning sound several times throughout the night, so it was annoying.
Outside of that issue, I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Hotel maravilhoso, dentro do campus da Universidade de Dartmouth. Fui para a formatura do meu filho e a localização não poderia ter sido melhor. Quarto bem grande, camas confortáveis, banheiro excelente. Roupa de cama e banho e produtos de higiene de qualidade. Roupão delicioso !!!! à disposição. Máquina de café e chá no quarto. Equipe simpática e prestativa. Gostei imensamente da minha estadia. Comemoramos a formatura com um jantar no restaurante Pine, muito bom.

Our stay at the Hanover Inn was wonderful! Loved our time in Hanover celebrating our daughter’s Tuck graduation and this hotel was right in the middle of everything, so convenient, accommodating and comfortable. Our room (a suite) was so spacious, clean and had 2 bathrooms, just great for our family to share. Super comfortable beds too. The Pine Room was excellent. We had dinner one evening, lunch one afternoon and great drinks at the bar. Will stay again whenever in the area!

Amazing stay and perfect for a visit to Dartmouth. Highly recommend the Hanover Inn due to convenience for any campus visit for undergrad or graduate programs.
