Good parking, nice sitting room, friendly staff.
Nothing
Staff were attentive and interested, brilliant service
But noisy till about 22.00 as we were above the kitchens, but nice rooms
Dinner was excellent, staff and parking also. The steak and the Hallumi were my pick.
The toilet was so closed to the bath that it was difficult to actually sit on.
The mattress was so so soft that it was almost like a waterbed and actually a bit uncomfortable.
All food excellent and presented
Everything was first call
My second stay at this hotel. Friendly staff and great food (breakfast and dinner). I had duck for dinner it was cooked perfectly.
Lovely hotel. Awesome service. Great breakfast
Friendly staff
Nice breakfast
Comfortable room
Drink prices are high in bar but need to cover the upkeep
The location was wonderful set back from the road with the lovely town of usk a very short walk away very well presented from the start really nice rooms and a very nice breakfast to start.your day.
Very impressed! The staff were amazing - very helpful, always a smile and friendly, but courteous and respectful as well. Location was perfect (for me), beautiful grounds with the park and River Usk opposite, and just a 5 minute walk over the bridge to the town centre. My room was great! Bed lovely & comfortable, clean & tidy (cleaners were lovely!) - I really can't fault the hotel or the staff, and not too expensive either - a win-win! I'll definitely be back!
There was nothing I didn't like
Superb service, amazing meals and very nice and clean hotel. Well looked after
There was nothing i didnt like
Fantastic hotel - rooms comfortable if a tad hot for my liking. Shame the lift was out of order when arriving with a heavy bag.
Food as always freshly cooked and fantastic - always feel embarrassed that I can't eat it all.
A working lift
Needs a bit of a decorative makeover, bathroom was excellent and bedding. Staff very friendly and bar man needed training as he was struggling a little, being new to the role. Breakfast was very tasty but coffee was awful.
Coffee. Veg with steak were overdone. too much and no need for chips and potatoes.
