I asked for a gin and tonic and despite there was evident the availability of the gin bottle at the bar display and barman confirm availability of tonic water he said he cannot serve that drink because IT WAS NOT IN THE COMPUTER
Scrambled eggs at breakfast were COLD, burner under the tray was OFF

We enjoyed our stay. location and travel through the city was chaotic but tolerable.

We have stayed there for 8 days. Nice and friendly staff but, besides that, almost everything went wrong. We asked for the pool, but it is closed indefinitely. The room on the 4th floor seemed OK at the first sight, even if it looked outdated. It’s cold in Talca in the night, and when the AC started it was almost unbearable. It was louder than a construction site, and we couldn’t sleep for the first couple of nights. On the 4th day the bathroom floor started to flood, and the personnel told us that we must move to another room. They said the hotel was almost fully booked, and the only option we got was a 2nd floor room. The 2nd floor is a kind of convention center, and it is nosy sometimes. There are only 2 guest rooms on that floor, quite hard to find. Our new room had old, some missing furniture, and an old, small and outdated TV set. At least the AC was OK. Wifi works well sometimes, but inconsistently. Quite annoying if you have online meetings as we had. The breakfast buffet was very basic, and you certainly get tired of the same food for 8 days. We also had lunch and dinner there a couple of times, but the menu was extremely limited.

The clerk was friendly and also our waitress.

The renovated bedrooms with one larger bed and quiet air conditioning, are very comfortable. As usual the staff are extremely efficient and always helpful.
It is always a pleasure when visiting Talca to stay in this hotel.

Nesten ikke WIFI dekning fra rommet. Safen virket ikke (betjeningen kom men klarte ikke å fikse den). Rom og enkel frokost, helt greit.

Large comfortable, spacious room on a quiet side of hotel, very good buffet breakfast with many options included, helpful and efficient staff. Great location as well. The photos do not do it justice: much better, more inviting than how it is pictured!

Additionally renovations to the rooms, including new beds,
make for a comfortable stay.

Podrían mejorar lo que llaman gym o sala de máquina, parece casi una broma. Hay 1 caminadora y una elíptica.
En mi opinión deberían quitar todo y decir que no hay gym (o sala de máquina), porque así parece una burla, casi un engaño.

It started was confusion -two hotels opposite of each other, same name but different management. Since in both places English is not at a high level at the reception, it took some time to understand.
The venue I stayed was oldish, with carpet in the rooms, apart from that ok with a sober but adequate breakfast.
Nice in the center of Talca, disadvantage is during rush hour it takes time to reach it.

La aislación de ruido genial. La primera habitación que nos dieron estaba pasada a humo de cigarrillo. La limpieza estaba bien pero podría ser mejor en el baño. Los colchones duros y se sienten los resortes. Hay un joven rubio que atiende en el restaurante que debería tener mejores modales.

Arrived two hours before and requested pre check in and was charged half a day extra or would not be allowed in. (the rooms were available)The reason given, which has never happenned before, was because I made the reservation Via Expedia. That was the message forwarded by the acting manager upon our arrival. It is an unacceptable answer.
