Modern well-maintained hotel
Pros:

I spent one night at this hotel during a business trip in Wellington

Advantages:

1- The location is great as it in Oriental Bay overlooking a beautiful beach
2- The rooms are very spacious, modern and well-maintained
3- The hotel is very clean
4- The staff is very friendly at the reception desk and at the cafe
5- It offers a modern relaxed atmosphere

Disadvantages:

1- The hotel is too small so you need to go outside the hotel if you need to be outside your room for a while
2- It can be noisy as it is an area where lots of events take place; so always check the events calendar of Wellington before you reserve
3- There is no gym

I think it is an ok value for a short stay

Great! We highly recommend staying at the Ohtel!
Pros:

The place was completely remodeled. Room was spacious. Toilet was huge with large soaking tub. King bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and service was excellent. Personnel were always polite and very attentive. Location was perfect.

Cons:

Wish the tub had jets.

A Little Gem by the Bay
Pros:

The Ohtel Wellington is perfectly situated right by Oriental Bay, with the city center within easy walking distance. We stayed in a room on the top floor, which was well-proportioned and featured both a small balcony and a beautiful view of the bay. We received a very warm welcome, and the staff were happy to answer all our questions regarding the hotel and nearby dining options. In the morning, we were served a high-quality breakfast. A special thank you to Paco and Karan for their excellent service.

Please note that the hotel does not have its own parking. However, you can book a parking space in a covered parking deck in the immediate vicinity for a fee.

Exceptional from start to finish!
Pros:

The staff was exceptional! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a big smile, a welcome drink of choice, a fabulous recommendation for dinner. Then we opened the door to a beautiful room with a large bathroom with outstanding amenities, very comfortable bed and a great night sleep! Next morning, once again we were greeted with a big smile and a delicious breakfast. This “Ohtel” really knows how to spoil their quest!!!
