We had a lovely stay at the Drumoig Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, and for us the main attraction was how dog-friendly it is — both the rooms and the bar welcomed our dog. That made a huge difference to our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff, breakfast, location.
Lovely location, well appointed, excellent condition.
Separate accommodation units.
Very nice breakfast included with the room rate. Scottish breakfast with a small pot for coffee or tea. Milk, sugar, etc, already there. Very responsive staff and service. Not much water on offer though.
I had requested a room with a view of the golf course. Given I was staying 6 nights they were unable to accommodate my request. Golf carts could use a cleaning. Utility handyman started work at 7:30am.
Reakfast was adequate, good selection of food. Location superb.
No complaints whatsoever.stayed here a couple of times.
The location was superb and the rooms were very nicely appointed. No fridge but the staff were more than happy to refrigerate my medicines for me. It represents excellent value for money and i personally found the room really nice and enjoyed my stay there immensely
The only criticism i could make was the menu for supper was rather limited. No healthy alternatives to main dishes, which were well cooked and very good. I love salads and nothing available but that didn’t really matter.
Clean, warm rooms and loved the shower
Breakfast room was a bit dull, staff seemed a bit unsure. continental offering poor
The restaurant was fantstic. The help was great and the prices very reasonable. Great value!
The hallway in the cottage was VERY hot and the room had to be cooled down. But there were are lot of cobwebs on the outside of the windows, so that was a bit creepy. But we had to open the windows to cool down the room.
The hotel is part of an excellent golf course to which, many years ago, I was a member. I have never stayed at the hotel previously and I no longer play golf. However, it's a great place to stay - about equidistant from Dundee and St Andrews. The room was very clean and comfortable. It would have benefitted from air conditioning as it was exceptionally warm weather when we stayed. That aside, I couldn't fault the room. The breakfasts we had were really nice (full Scottish) and the evening meal we had was very good and decent value.
Air conditioning, perhaps? Nothing other than that.
