Hotel Hacienda VIP

This hotel is conveniently located near downtown and also Paseo Montejo. We walked to all the places from the hotel and the personnel from the hotel is very nice. We arrived at 11:30 pm and Albert received us, he was very helpful with information, Jaime also was very good. Sofia the masseuse is excellent.

I enjoyed our stay at the Hacienda. Location is super convening and the property is large , rooms are spacious and nice. Price was great. Will be back on next visit to Merida

Well restored historical building. It felt very private. We never had to share a pool with other guests as they were all located in different quarters. My two kids and I had a great stay. They also enjoyed the breakfast on premise.

We had an excellent stay here. It is like a haven in Merida. Rooms are a great size with lots of original features - beautiful tiles, lighting and great pools.

Staff were extremely friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again if I visited Mérida again.

In all of our years of traveling throughout Mexico. The Hotel Hacienda VIP was one of the nicest, well staffed, convenient, beautiful, well appointed, colonial hotels we've ever experienced. The entire staff and the owners were so personable, knowledgeable, kind, courteous and willing to help with any issues or questions. I have to single out Armando and Lucy. They were so helpful throughout our entire stay at the hotel. Lucy helped arrange our return shuttle ride back to the airport. And Armando was just an all around help with whatever we needed. He was always there to lend assistance whenever needed. We never got to introduce ourselves to the maid, but she was absolutely lovely. The two owners of the place were also incredible to work with. They were always available for any questions or issues and always with a smile on their faces. I would highly recommend a stay at The Hotel Hacienda VIP. Thanks, Quincy Bissic

We will be back here when we return to Merida! Albert and Isaac and crew could not have been more accommodating, and we absolutely loved our VIP suite. It surpassed expectations. Ideal location, too. We can't wait to go back!

I really enjoyed this hotel except the mattress was too hard for me and my husband. We would have liked a more comfortable bed. The style was beautiful and exotic and extremely clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
If you want something different than the traditional style hotel, this is the place. Also very centrally located.

Great location downtown , priced in the high end , convenient to explore downtown ! Fantastic staff … but as I always say when you book a boutique hotel in a historical building set your expectations accordingly to what amnesties you will get ! If you prioritize comfort , stick to the big chain hotels ! Otherwise it’s an enjoyable exploration

Beautiful hotel in the central area of Merida

Lovely hotel. The staff were terrific. When we arrived they parked our car in the car park around the corner as it was raining heavily. They were very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were delicious and definitely filled you up for the day. The pool was well maintained and the location is ideal for sightseeing and restaurants nearby.

The staff was warm, helpful and friendly and made my father and me incredibly welcomed and comfortable. The two rooms we rented were gorgeous and the pool was clean and felt private. Couldn’t imagine a more pleasant time in Merida.

The suit was as one would expect, a real 4 star

Liked the staff and the breakfast options that were available. The hotel only had 3 floors but the steps were a little challenging due to curvature and incline of steps. There were also a number of mosquitoes in the room.

This hotel is picturesque and very centrally located. The room was spacious and we had a large balcony overlooking the courtyard with the pool. The best part of this stay was the staff of the hotel. They could not have been nicer, more welcoming and gracious. The two workers at the bar in the afternoon were so friendly and provided excellent service as well as great information about the places to go nearby. Though the weather was quite hot, we were able to walk anywhere we needed in the area as the hotel was surrounded by bars, shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay again on our next trip.

Terrible experience!!!! The pictures are far from reality, at least our room was nothing like them. Public areas aren’t as beautiful al the photos.
Bad customer service. It was such a bad experience, we preferred to move to another hotel eventhoughWe don’t recommend it.

Located half way between the Grand Plaza and Santa Ana Park & Paseo de Montejo. We could easily walk either way quickly to get to museums, restaurants, Merida English Library, historic mansions, walking tour starting locations and shops.

Staff at Hotel Hacienda Merida were friendly, helpful and made sure we were comfortable, assisted arranging tours, taxis and answered any questions.

Breakfast had flexibility between cereals, fruit, breads and preparation of eggs/ham.

Room large and comfortable. Lovely courtyard with plunge pool.

We stayed at the Hotel Hacienda and the Hotel Hacienda VIP, which are next door to each other - and both are amazing. Beautiful rooms, private balconies and pools, and wonderful and kind staff. Really wonderful hotel that I highly recommend.

The room was in poor condition,
no amenities at all. Not even the basic.
