Golden Temple Hotel

My go to hotel in Siem Reap. Had been in Phnom Penh for a week & was due to stay longer, but needed to relax. Contacted Alice at the hotel who managed to get me a very last minute reservation at the hotel. I was so glad. After Phnom Penh this hotel is an oasis of calm. Everybody here are fabulous. From front desk to spa to restaurant. They could not be more friendly or helpful. Whenever I come to Siem Reap I do not bother looking anywhere else to stay. It’s no more than 10 minutes leisurely walk to pub street & the central area so located well.

We loved our stay at this hotel. It was beautiful and the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful from reception, restaurant, spa, housekeepers. Lovely warm pool with luxury sunbeds.

The hotel arranged our airport transfers and once we arrived we booked a day at the temples. They provided us with great tuk tuk driver Ek and guide Kai. Having the guide was well worth it. Kai was very informative and great at finding the best photo spots. We did 4 temples and that was enough for a day as they are large and it is very hot.
Breakfast was varied and tasty and the waiting staff were so attentive.
We used the spa which was a beautiful experience.
So glad we chose Golden Temple for our first visit to Cambodia. The Cambodian people are the best.

I have stayed in many different hotels throughout the world and this hotel is both my favourite and the best one I have ever stayed
The location is perfect, about 500 metres from Pub Street, so an easy walk or short tuk tuk ride but far enough away so the hotel is nice and quiet throughout the day & night.
The rooms are sensational, big & comfortable with a large bathroom, king sized bed which is nice and soft and plenty of pillows
But the thing that separates this hotel from all the others is the staff. Easily the best staff at any hotel I have ever stayed anywhere in the world. Every one of them are professional, friendly and will do absolutely anything you ask to make your stay more enjoyable. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and a really nice touch, is they all remember you by name and welcome you whichever part of the hotel you are in.
Just to name few Muni,Liza, Thearii & Cici were all absolutely fantastic.
But a special mention to Alice, who was my point of contact before I arrived & during my stay. She is the most awesome person I have ever dealt with in any hotel. She got me the exact room I wanted, organised a full itinerary for my stay and personally accompanied me on most of my tours as a I was travelling solo. She is a bundle of energy, always smiling & laughing and makes you feel very special not only during your stay but before and after.
And the tours she organised were all different from the standard tours offered elsewhere. From the food tasting tour, to the water blessing tour to the bird sanctuary and private dinner tour, all were amazing and not to be missed.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap. Book directly through the hotel & Alice will organise everything from airport transfers, to tour packages and complimentary meals & laundry.
I can’t wait to return here and already have another trip planned for September

Golden temple hotel (not to be mixed up with other Golden temple) is beautiful, well located and very welcoming. The staff are amazing, lovely pool and great food. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel, very good spa, excellent staff and they always do their best to help you with every need, highly recommended.
During this trip I did the tour of the temples with e- bike, they prepared breakfast to go as I was going to see the sunrise at Angkor wat and it was amazing! For the long distance ones they also offer tuk tuk service. 🙏🏻

Very central location, it’s busy and you can hear the hustle and bustle of the town but it really didn’t bother us at all.
Eateries, shops and markets within walking distance however if you don’t want to stroll so many Tuk Tuks to choose from.
Beautiful hotel
Rooms and facilities are very comfortable and clean.
The staff are very welcoming and go above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay.
Food and drinks are tasty and presented very well.
The spa has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and we enjoyed our Massage, facial and pedicure.

A very beautiful and stylish hotel with wonderful service. The room was a very good size and beautifully decorated.
It is located in the quieter part of town but it’s only a short walk or tuktuk ride to the cafes and restaurants in the Wat Bo / Street 26 area.

I recently stayed here for four days and it was fantastic. The hotel staff are very attentive and accommodating. The spa and restaurant are definite must-do’s. It is an easy walk to Pub Street and only a two minute walk to where the $8 airport bus drops off and picks up (new location).

Mr Chieb Vibol English tour guide - he is very nice and knowledgeable; is always punctual and knows a lot of tips for sunrise - AND he takes excellent photos.

The hotel was superb. All the staff were excellent and so friendly. We organised a trip with the hotel for Ankor Wat short circuit. We had a Tuk Tuk driver and a guide named Sinet who was absolutely superb. They were on time and made sure everything ran smoothly. They showed us all the highlights and a few hidden gems. The Sinets English was superb and he brought everything to life. We left at 5am for the sunrise trip and was back at the hotel at 11:30 am having seen everything we wanted and more. We were unsure who book a guide but please do yourself a favour and book Sinet to make your experience extra special.

A great hotel with great service

This is truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in the service level is Ritz Carlton quality but with a Cambodian heart. The personal attention, the professionalism, and most importantly, the sincerity all meld for a truly splendid experience.

I booked the Angkor Wat tour through the hotel and it was a great decision. The temples are of course spectacular, but to help an extremely knowledgeable guide positioning, constantly to be at the right place at the right time from pre-Dawn and all throughout the day made all the difference. Chhong’s seemingly limitless detail of information was just the perfect seasoning as we walked and drove to all of the essential locations and even more importantly, vantage points. He deeply cares about the history and generously shared his knowledge.

My driver was always in the right place at the right time with a ice cold towel in the refreshing drink in his hand. The hotel packed a great breakfast and then later we stopped for an unforgettable lunch that was literally gourmet level, but in a very realistic, rustic but comfortable setting,

Their kindness was the perfected extension from the hotel staff in every area in their absolutely exceptional level of customer service. Alice and her team at the hotel truly bring your entire stay to a level that is unforgettable!!!

Seriously, read through some of my many reviews. I can be complementary sometimes, but also critical. I don’t just speak glowingly unless I really have experienced something exceptional.

Lovely few days in siem reap. Beautiful small hotel in central location. Staff very helpful arranging tours etc. Had tuk tuk tour with guide Poy Pines - excellent guide, very knowledgeable, great English and got us around all the temples avoiding queues at high season.

Our Family stay at Golden Temple Hotel was absolutely perfect beyond our expectations. The staffs were the best features of this hotel. They went above and beyond! Thanks to the front desk Miss Bella & Ms Alice the front desk manager, they are absolutely awesome. We will be back in the future.

Silent , our guide was very knowledgeable about Angkor Wat ,and all the temples we visited today he also recommended lovely Cambodia lunch Amok which was excellent.
