Golden Temple Hotel

Sinet was a great host during our visit. The waterfall adventure was exhilarating and beautiful and as far as waterfalls go, it was easy breezy to get to it. The sunset boat cruise was bougie and elegant as we motored past people's floating homes. The cocktail hour was complete with delicious concoctions from the kitchen. It was a "punch me, this can't be my life" experience. The cool part is it is our life and now we have beautiful Cambodia memories and new friends to remember. Thank you Temple Group for the wonderful hospitality!

This hotel is amazing. The hospitality by every member of staff was truly over the top. We stayed for 6 nights, and every day they made sure that our stay was the best it could be. The room was very comfortable with hot water, a cozy bed, crisp sheets, and a/c (which was critical since it was I the 100s outside!). Because of the weather, the staff consistently greeted us with cold towels and cold bottled water. The restaurant served delicious food for all 3 meals. The swimming pool was also divine--they often served us complimentary drinks and snacks while in the pool! We enjoyed massages in their spa as well (my technician was Nary who was outstanding). The stay averaged at $52/night so it was incredibly affordable for the level of service. I definitely recommend this establishment!

I absolutely loved Golden Temple Hotel. The employees were very kind and helpful, always asking if we needed anything. And the place was great, very clean, loved swimming I. The pool and the food in the restaurant was delicious. I definitely recommend you stay here if you get a chance.

I had a great stay at Golden Temple Hotel. The room, pool, decoration, hygene, location, drinks, service were all great. But I think the most important thing is that the personnel and the management were amazing. They were so welcoming, smily and helpfull with everything. First day I had a problem with the airport transfer so they didnt charge me for it although it wasn’t their fault and I took the ride. They upgraded my room when I arrived with no extra charge. I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back.

After arriving in Cambodia (which is hot and humid), a driver from the hotel greeted us with cold water and cool cloths. From the moment we stepped onto the walkway into the hotel, we felt like we had stepped into an oasis.

They asked us to take a seat and served us iced tea and banana chips then walked us through the check-in process. The staff are so kind and polite and made us feel so special. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The rooms are magnificent with balconies facing the pool which is so refreshing and the atmosphere is relaxing. We highly recommend this hotel as the staff are so friendly and extremely helpful with whatever your needs are. Alice is knowledgeable and competent with booking your tourist needs!

We had the great pleasure of touring Angkor Wat, Angkor Tom, and Banteay Srei in early March 2026. The tour was booked through our hotel (The Golden Temple) and they took care of every detail in advance. We were picked up at the hotel at 5:00 am, which turned out to be an excellent idea so that we would avoid the heat of the afternoon. It also afforded us the chance to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat.

Our guide, Phirum spoke excellent English was so knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia and the temples. He explained and described the sculptures, carvings of the Hindu and Buddha scriptures methodically for the many eras that it took to create them from the scriptures from that particular time.

He answered all of our many questions (mostly from Keith) with interest and respect. He has a great sense of humour and is well liked by the other tour guides in the area, judging from the interactions between them.

He was so attentive and aware of our surroundings at all times and took excellent care and caution required depending on the circumstance. We highly recommend him as your guide.

Our driver, Heng, was safe, conscientious, prompt. He was very attentive, offering us cold water and cold cloths ready for us at every stop as it was very hot and humid when we visited the temples.

Very good location, just 15 min walking to the central market.
The atmosphere is nice and peaceful, perfect to rest after the activities during the day. Excellent masssage options.
The room was amazing! Beautiful, and fully equipped. Nice and confortable bed, very good and beautiful shower. I loved it!
The staff is amazing, they help us with everything! One day we visitors Angkor wat at 4 am and they prepared a box with our breakfast, was very nice! Overall I love this hotel and I totally recommend it!

So pleased I booked Golden Temple. It was absolutely fabulous. The service is first class.
My driver for the entire stay, Mr Sarath, what a kind lovely man. Always ready and waiting with a cold water every time I got back into the car.
My tour guide Kim was the most knowlegable man. He has been a guide for a long time, he is a wealth of information. Not only that, he is an incredible photographer. I don't think I've had that many photo's taken of me since my wedding day! Kim made my entire temple experience extraordinary.
The Kymer dinner and entertainment for the evening was lovely. My waiter was Van for the evening and he was a very polite, courteous, always smiling young man.
The sunset cocktail boat tour is amazing, you have to do it. Sreyneang was my waitress, what a lovely intuitive lady.
I had a massage and a facial on my last day which was lovely before boarding the plane.
Also Tran my Tuk Tuk driver was lovely. He took me shopping, waited for me and bought me back.

The only feedback I would give to management is rather than asking me for Tripadvisor reviews at dinner, at the spa and when delivering room service, I would have preferred to completely enjoy the experience without being asked all the time during my stay. Being in sales myself, I understand the hotel relies on reviews but what Golden Temple has is simply 5 stars - I would wait until the end of a person's stay to request a review.

This is a lovely hotel so close to everything. The hotel is spotlessly clean and all the staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. A special thank you to Cici who is so very attentive. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Highly recommend the Golden Hotel, Siem Reap. Staff are all very friendly and attentive. Attention to detail is excellent. Beautiful hotel with gorgeous swimming pool. Relaxed atmosphere. They also organise great tours and our huge thanks go to Chong for taking us around the Angkor Wat sites. He gave us detailed stories behind each site we visited, was patient and took great care of us throughout. Highly recommend him as a tour guide. Shout out to Moni our driver who kept us cool and refreshed. Thank you both for a wonderful day.

This hotel is fantastic - situated within easy walking distance to the centre and with an excellent team who looked after us extremely well. There’s a friendly and cool atmosphere, with great facilities. Would definitely recommend.

My Fiancée and I stayed here for 4 nights as a last minute change of travel plans and boy what a find.. This hotel is perfectly located close to markets and Pub Street along with other attractions, it makes the perfect starting point for so much. The rooms are well furnished, the food is great if you want to try local cuisine and the staff are just wonderful warm friendly people.

Pool rooms is ideal for cooling off after a day touring and the bar prices are excellent.

I can honestly recommend this hotel as a perfect spot to stay whilst in Siem Reap.

Wonderful atmosphere, good food, great air conditioning

We stayed at Golden Temple Hotel in March 2026 and had a truly outstanding experience.

From the very first contact, Alice made everything seamless. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care are on another level – she was constantly overseeing everything and ensured we were exceptionally well looked after throughout our stay.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed in a refined Khmer style, creating a calm and elegant atmosphere. Its location is perfect – central and within walking distance to Pub Street and the Night Market, yet quiet enough to feel like a true oasis after a day at Angkor Wat.

The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and immaculately clean, combining traditional elements with modern comfort. The pool area is stunning and perfect for relaxing.

The restaurant offers very good quality food and a pleasant atmosphere, ideal for both breakfast and a relaxed dinner.

Special thanks to Harri, Lyzaa, and Lynne at reception for their warm, polished, and highly professional service.

Excellent value for money, but what truly makes this place exceptional is the people.

The room was large well equipped with essential things we need yea,coffee etc there is a beautiful pool outside,staff a v helpful and friendly. Laundry services are cheap and v convenient. Breakfast was $10per day and well worth it! Good vegetarian options.

This was our second visit to this hotel. Both times we have received exceptional service from all staff and left feeling refreshed.
We had a pool access room, which was so handy for dips in the pretty pool.
Our room was clean and well furnished and as can be seen by the photo, the fact that we had stayed before was acknowledged. The flowers on the bed put a smile on our faces and made us feel that the hotel treat each guest as special.
From booking to leaving the staff, in particular the lovely Alice. were on hand to help us have a special holiday. For example, when they booked for us to see a Cambodia dance show down the same road, two staff accompanied us on the walk to make sure we found the building. Amazing service.
We would also like to thank the kind spa staff who gave us some relaxing treatments, in particular we would like to thank Ms Nary, MsThit and Ms Pichii.
All the staff gave 5 star service and did all they could to make sure they had a special holiday. We would also like to thank Poe, as she remembered us from our previous stay and was always very willing to help in any way she could.
The restaurant offers a great breakfast in a lovely area overlooking the pool.
We also enjoyed other meals in the restaurant, which were all very well presented and tasty.
We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and look forward to staying again in the future.
Also of note is the staff's caring attitude to their customers, also is shared with the voluntary care they have been giving to those in need in a nearby village. Their passion for helping others shines through under the guidance of Alice and is to be highly commended. We wish them all well/

Had 3 days of tours with Sinet. Visiting harder to reach temples, the floating markets, and Angkor Wat. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and allowed me to experience it at my own place. I especially liked how he would stop at certain parts of each temple to explain the Hindu or Buddhist history, the local history and where to take some exceptional photos that most tourists would miss. The whole team at Golden Temple are very helpful and welcoming. I had a great stay!
