Comfy stay in a veteran hotel
Pros:

Japan has many older hotels from the 80s/90s with the usual wear and tear. This one does a good job keeping up standards though there is some aging. Staff were friendly. Good breakfast. Room was great with fresh tatami and plenty of bedding. Free bikes for wandering. Laundry dryers were very effective. Would stay again.

Pros:

オシャレで清潔感があり、快適でした。荷物を、チェックインが早かったのに、部屋まで運んで置いてくださり、嬉しかったです。歯ブラシなど、環境に配慮した設備が感じられた所も良いですね。スタッフの対応も、和やかでほっこりしました。

Cons:

仕方ありませんが、荷物が重くて、駅からのデコボコ道が、しんどかったのが、ちょっと残念。

期待していたのにとても残念でした。
Pros:

市内にあり、駅からも近く、駐車場もかなりの台数を置けるくらいにありました。
伊万里焼きの壺や古伊万里がさりげなく飾ってあって、焼き物の町なんだなと思いました。

Cons:

禁煙の部屋がとてもタバコ臭がして、息もできないほどだった。
朝起きるとドレッサー前の机の上に蟻が。寝る前に飲んだコーヒーのカップにたかっていて、机の上もたくさんの蟻はっていた。今までいろんなホテルに滞在してきたが、こんなことは初めてだった。
