The staff was friendly, rooms were clean. It was quite.
It is a bit outside of town. To go eat it is a little bit of a drive. The pool was closed.
Overall it’s a decent place to stay for 1 night. Good breakfast: fruits, juice, cereal, toasts, egg bites…
If the power didn’t go out it would have been a great stay but we left because I had heat exhaustion.
Out dated no wifi shades on lamps spotted yellow bathroom tub old cracked drain nasty walls all caulked up old old cable TV box air didn't work very well and they said I could have refund because of emergency for 2nd night them nor booking.com gave back
Clean and conveniently located.
It is outdated but not dirty. Breakfast definitely lacking.
The location was good. Billie Creek village was interesting. The front desk fellow switched out the direct TV box that wasn't working right away.
The room smelled of mildew.
The room was okay. It was clean. The breakfast was simple but was as expected. The caffe was weak.
The room was okay. There were spiderwebs and a spider dangling from the corner. The caffee was weak.
The people were friendly
There was a stain on one wall that looked like blood. The electrical set up for our air conditioner was sketchy. There was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. There was moldy pieces of food underneath the pull out couch.
Left before breakfast.
Shower did not work. Tolit lid (ring) wrong size. Air conditioner would not work. Conditions of building was going downhill
Bed was comfortable, and had HBO and some other movie channels that was nice. Had A problem with our TV remote and they took care of it right away
They have A pool but it's not open and half full of scummy rain water, and parking lot is really rough
Everything
The power went out on July 4 evening. And it was 97° outside with a heat index of 107. It finally came on around 12:30 AM
The beds were comfortable
We are very upset with Royal Creek inn. I have stayed there when it was Billie Creek Village and loved it. I am very disappointed. We weren't sure exactly who to go through because I booked room through booking.com so I called Booking.com and told them our complaints because we booked our room through them . Booking l.com called Royal Inn to try and get them to offer free or discounted room ..they refused! THEIR REASON WAS- We had checked in around 6 pm but complained later. Honestly we did not spend much time there as I had other commitments .
We were only in room for about 45 minutes before we had to leave again.
Our Issues were as stated below:
1. Out tub drain looked dangerous and sharp. I did take pics of these issues s
Except breakfasr so Noone could say otherwise . My friend did mention desk service wasn’t the best.
2. Our microwave was dirty- had not been cleaned.
3. My friends blanket to bed ( closest to bathroom )had holes in it
4. Lighting
5. Hotel outdated
6. We came in after my committed event and there were kids being very loud outside and we had no idea what they were up too.
We thought this was it but no there's mmorewe called Booking.com to complain. Why? We booked room through them. We didn’t want to complain until check out because we felt best that way.
Booking.com called Royal Inn to see if they would consider a refund. Royal Inn said no. Said we should have called earlier. They said they would do nothing because we had booked room earlier and was calling late
Why? I am a performer and had entertained all day and we were there for about 45 minutes packing in then leaving..exhausted. I wasn't sure if since we booked through booking.com if we called them
Next ..so we complained at the desk this morning . The desk lady is nice, but younger blonde lady who said she was cleaning crew didn't apologize when I said I won't be back . Her attitude about this matter was horrible.
The bed was comfy, staff was friendly, overall the rooms themselves were a lot more cozy than my spouse and I expected. Highly recommend this place especially if you're on a budget like we were.
Location
The power went out and lady at front desk was very very rude and then overheard lady cussing about all the guest to someone on the phone not knowing anyone could hear her.
Close to the things I wanted to do. Room stayed cold
Refrigerator didn't work correctly One light didn't work, the towels felt dirty.
Not a thing...
They turn off the Direct tv off after 4 of July I will not go back there again.i pay for the tv to be on will I am there. Come in the room and turn down the air and the refrigerator .I pay for.
