Excellent and welcoming staff!
Pros:

Great location to be able to walk to everything. Bus dropped us from Dublin airport literally across the street from the hotel. So convenient.

Pros:

The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet.

Cons:

Room 207. The one window was about 24 inches wide so the room had practically no natural light. The “dressing room” area had only a dim motion sensor light, kept turning off. The bathroom sink didn’t drain. The dinner was very good with good service, the breakfast very disappointing. Poor service, long wait, disorganized.

Cons:

Badezimmer war für Rollstuhlfahrer-innen ausgelegt und daher alles extrem niedrig montiert. Gut, dass es solche Zimmer gibt, aber für uns unbrauchbar.
Zimmerausstattung nicht wie dargestellt.

An excellent experience in every way.
Pros:

The breakfasts were really excellent. The hotel had switched from buffet to menu-choice breakfasts, which I found worked very well and gave a superior experience. The staff were especially friendly, efficient, and helpful.

Central and beautiful
Pros:

Location fab for a family reunion. Central for people coming from Dublin airport and within Ireland from Kildare, Wexford and Dublin. Kilkenny is a beautiful city.
