The Arista Hotel

Heard this was the nicest hotel in Indonesia and it certainly didn't disappoint. The people there are so nice and professional.

Very pleasant, very clean, I will definitely comeback in the future.

Arista Hotel in Palembang exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The lobby welcomes you with grandeur, the room offers ample space and a convenient work table. The cozy bed ensures a comfortable stay, complemented by a rejuvenating rainwater shower in the impressive bathroom. Fast and efficient check-in/check-out processes streamline the experience.

One standout feature is the delightful breakfast spread, featuring a variety of local delicacies. The proximity to ICON mall adds to its appeal, but caution is advised when crossing due to the lack of traffic lights.

Overall, Arista Hotel has my highest recommendation as the best choice in Palembang.

I paid for the express service to wash my clothes, it indicates to get them back in 3 hours. I checked out two days later and did not manage to get them back. The hotel staff: `Eka from the Front Office Department`` reached out afterward, send me a picture of the package, and was going to charge me to send them back to my home address. It has been a month now, the clothes still did not arrive and the WhatsApp number got silent. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

The service from breakfast F&B staff were better than Front Office, especially their English proficiency. Housekeeping was polite and provided good service.
Breakfast spread was good, but could improve on taste and heating mechanism. The same processed juice was prepared for breakfast, yet the water to cordial juice ratio was not the same, as we noticed that the juice on the second day was more sour. Hotel management should think of safety for staff who Work at Height. Ladder was used from 1st floor to 2nd floor when changing lobby curtain. 2 staff hold the ladder at each floor while the 3rd staff climb to the ceiling, no safety boots nor safety harness was used.
Hotel is beside a new mall, just be courageous enough to cross the busy road. Easy to catch Grab to go anywhere.

Great service from Hotel staffs, Friendly and helpful. The room is clean. Good spread of breakfast choices with many local delights!
The hotel provide free wifi for only 3 devices but the staff is kind enough to increase the no of devices for me.

I give two thumbs up for the Concierge staffs! Very friendly and attentive. About the rooms.. Some have been renovated but some are still old rooms. There are renovation construction in progress so be mindful of the noises.. They said the construction will stop at 5pm, but it was not.. I can still hear the noises up to 6 or 7pm. Quite disturbing. There was something wrong with the shower water too.. I couldn't set it up to warm. It was either too hot or cold. They need to fix that water heater.

Nice hotel, great breakfast, but why have those exterior lights that shine in the guest rooms?

Location is great, near Palembang Icon Mall. Superb level of service from the staffs. They were so friendly and attentive. Well done! The room is quite spacious although it looks old. It should be renovated soon..

The hotel was okay considering the area it was located in. Not much around the hotel to see, but then again, not much in the city to write about. The room was nice and clean though and breakfast was good.

Had a great stay. One of the best hotels in Palembang. Wonderful staff, great location across from Palembang Icon (new mall). Tons of breakfast options. Also had lunch in the restaurant and it was great. Awesome pool! Can't say enough nice things about this hotel.
