The hotel comprises two buildings. The second building, situated across from the main building, requires a hotel key for access, but unfortunately, there’s no security presence. This makes it a bit unnerving to enter and exit the second building at night, especially in this narrow alleyway. It’s not uncommon to encounter strangers sitting along this alleyway.

Florence City break
Pros:

Florence is a fantastic city, so much to see around every corner, full of history. The hotel is in a great location, 5 m8nutes from the train station in one direction and 5 minutes from the Duomo in the other. And no shortage of restaurants in both directions. The hotel has the original boutique feel with large windows with open door hinges and wooden floors. Just the type of accommodation we love for short stays. There were little decorative touches throughout on light fittings and in breakfast room. A really good hotel, highly recommend..

Cons:

Very few negatives, the single flush button on the toilets did not work. The air-conditioning unit was very good, but it was difficult to turn on/off, if room got a little warm or a little too cool. The distressed look on the wardrobe did not look genuine and out of place.
