Free, safe parking. Hotel looking a bit tired, but staff were friendly, hotel was clean and breakfast was very good.

I wouldnt use it again as its too far out with nothing of interest in the immediate area.

Overall good value..Would stay again.

Staff were pleasant and the rooms spacious. Could do with a little updating but it's more of an observation than complaint. Beds were massive and comfortable, and so quiet at night even with a wedding event happening in the adjacent building. The evening food was very nice, large portions so no chance of going hungry. Breakfast could have a few more options but was satisfactory. Would definitely stay again!!

Plenty of free parking immediately outside hotel room. Room was great size on the ground floor but with fencing in front of the windows for privacy which I loved. Big bathroom great shower. Bed very comfortable. Coffee and tea facilities. Quiet room despite a few events being held in a hall opposite. Great location for me visiting family. Definitely recommend.
WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND A CAR I think it would be difficult to reach using public transport. Expensive using Taxi/ Uber

Spacious room, spotlessly clean, with bath and buffet plus full breakfast. Safe and convenient parking. Easy access to the University. Good value.

The room was big but the wet room smelled really bad l complained everyday and left a day early which l did not get a refund or an apology for the smell so not happy with them at all !!!

Reception is very small. Picture on website not a true reflection.
Bedroom is spacious and clean but pillows need replacing. Hardly any fillings in the pillows. No lift. No AC but fan is provided.

We only stayed one night but thoroughly enjoyed it the room was lovely and spacious a spotlessly clean bathroom we ate in the restaurant the food was delicious and very reasonably priced will definitely stay again

This hotel provided a basic level of accommodation and was comfortable enough. Yea and coffee provided but basic.
However the decor in the room was very ‘tired’ looking and the bath was very worn and seriously in need of replacement.
There was a bar but in the corner of a large fairly empty feeling room so lacking in ambience.

Room was like a square box

The 1st room we were given had a kettel with limescale in it and a bath with the enamel worn and black marks also purple marks on bath from some product that had been used previously we complained and were given another room.The 2nd room was on the 1st floor but there is no lift available as it is not being used anymore so anyone with mobility issues like my wife it will cause issues ! However there are some ground floor accessible rooms available. The radiator in our 2nd room wasn't working on night 1 so we notified reception of the problem and it was fixed promptly. Breakfast service was pretty good with a good sized seating area on morning one with a cook breakfast brought to the table by a lovely lady who couldn't be any nicer.Morning 2 breakfast was in a different smaller room but still ok but the cook breakfast was self service from warming plates.Self service continental breakfast was available on both mornings. Plenty of car parking space available. It is a wedding/events hotel also but this didn't cause any problems with excessive late night noise or drunken behaviour. On the whole a reasonable hotel tucked away in a quiet location good for if you are doing something in the area like we did (Beverley Races) . Nice staff and i would stay again, 4 out of 5.
