Visit. Was ok but really no winning

Played slots, enjoyed the variety of games

I like to play video poker, and there wasn’t a good selection of games available. Machines that were there seemed to be pretty tight.

I always have a great time when I go to the Mardi Gras Casino & Resort!! So many games to play and fun to be had!! Also delicious food at their wonderful restaurants!! And if you get too tired--spend the night at their newly upgraded resort!! You won't regret it!!

Great place to have a day of entertainment . We always have a great time. Doesn't matter if we win or lose. The staff is so friendly

Love the new remodel first time in about 3 years I've been there has greatly improved on everything 🙌 I highly recommend visiting. A Great way to blow off steam. Staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was very nice. 🎉🎉🎉🎊😁 I don't get to come to the area often, but I can't wait to be able to visit again.

It’s a little bit out of the way but it’s not too far away. If you are traveling here and for some reason choose a different hotel just know that you will not be close enough to walk and traffic is pretty heavy around here so it’s not recommended for distance and safety. Other than that, it is kind of nice that it is tucked away and by itself imo.

Hotel has been remodeled, room was nice. Added a breakfast bar. Eggs, meats, waffles, cereals and variety of breads. Everything was good.
Casino has had a lot of slots removed that I liked, had fun on some new ones.
Enjoyed mini trip with my best friend.

Great getaway with friends over Thanksgiving Break. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Access to the casino was smooth. All staff were helpful, friendly and polite. Casino provided a fun, safe and clean environment. We will definitely return!

They have updated rooms recently but thats about it. Lobby still under construction. No pool or hot tub. No spa. No golf. No shopping. Im not sure why they think this place is a resort. My husband always wants me to go because he enjoys tables. I used to like to watch dogs and have dinner but now no food and walk a mile for a drink and to place bets. No service at all near dog track. This is not a resort. Its a hotel (and not even as nice as some of the Hamptons in the area) with minimal amenities next to a poorly ran casino. Someone with management experience could probably make it a nice place. The staff is nice and very welcoming which is the only reason I give 2 stars.

Very clean premises. Kitchen renovations taking place currently. Limited breakfast selections.

Great times

Carbohydrate breakfast: bagels, muffins, cereal, toast, ect. Coffee was delicious and hot. Juice was cold.

Nice rooms

Very pleased

No coffee in rooms (what hotel in 2025 doesn’t have coffee in their rooms?)
Breakfast was pathetic; 2 types of muffins, couple of slices of white bread, cold cereal, or packets of oatmeal, that was about it! We couldn’t find a clean table to enjoy this gourmet!

Horrible rooms, old and dirty outdated.. this has to be the worst Casino in the world to be a casino and make millions you can’t invest into your rooms is pathetic. Food is zero out of 10 you’re better on driving to Cincinnati or Pittsburgh to other casinos because this is a joke.

Cleaner than last time even though under construction

Had a great time for our 35th class reunion. Clean rooms and fun time in the casino. Food was excellent in the French Quarters restaurant.
