We had a wonderful experience at Ayara Kamala Resort and Spa! It was a beautiful location with amazing views! Our room was huge and very clean! It really did feel like a lush paradise! We did have a little bit of a hike every time we walked up to our room, but if the staff saw us they offered us a ride up. They staff! From the front desk, drivers, house keeping and SPA, were AMAZING! We would love to visit again in the future!
Beautiful hotel, with a stunning panoramic position with a view on the sea.
The rooms are big, modern with thai details and quality furnishing. In particular, our room also had the direct access to an amazing swimming pool, shared only with other five rooms.
Very good breakfast (buffet + a la carte, but included in the rate) in terms of choice and quality of food.
I would like also to highlight the kindness of the staff, that made us feel at home.

The hotel and its area are breathtakingly amazing! It feels here like in paradise! The rooms are spacious, we had the personal infinity pool. Nature surrounds the hotel. Several bird spieces greet you from different angles. The people from hotel are really lovely and sweet. At hotel there is rough beach, that is really good for "climbing walks". The food!!! Oh my, the food is sooo delicious. We really recommend to stay here! 🫶

My stay at Ayara Kamala Resort was so lovely—and a big reason why is Batty, the awesome Chinese-speaking guest helper I chatted with via WeChat!
Here’s the thing that made me really happy: I left a piece of luggage at the resort after checking out. I was low-key panicking, but Batty hit me back right away on WeChat. She tracked down my bag super fast, sorted a local delivery, and by the time I’d finished checking into my new hotel? The luggage showed up right then—no delays to my plans at all!
The resort itself is great (quiet, full of greenery, perfect for chilling), but Batty’s quick, caring help made this trip feel extra smooth. If you’re a Chinese traveler here, having someone who speaks fluent Chinese and goes out of their way to help like she did is such a relief. 10/10 would totally recommend—thanks a ton, Batty!

I spent 4 nights at the Grand Pool Villa at Ayara Kamala Resort & Spa in Phuket, and it was one of those rare places that truly combine luxury with peace.
The villa itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and completely private — with an infinity pool overlooking the Andaman Sea that felt straight out of a dream. Mornings began with floating breakfasts and sea breeze, and evenings ended with sunsets that painted the sky golden.
What stood out most was the resort’s calm atmosphere — tucked away from the noise, yet close enough to reach Kamala Beach or Patong within minutes. The spa treatments were exceptional, offering complete relaxation, and the staff went above and beyond to make everything seamless.
The food here deserves a special mention — from healthy smoothie bowls to authentic Thai dishes, every meal was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented.
Overall, Ayara Kamala is the perfect mix of luxury, privacy, and tranquility. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, solo, or just looking to disconnect, this resort delivers a stay you’ll remember long after checkout

Best Sunset View at Ayara Kamala resort.My special time with nieces in this beautiful resort was nothing short of magical, offering the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Thai charm. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the atmosphere and the breathtaking natural beauty surrounding the property. The accommodation was exceptional. The room was spacious,huge and clean. The sunset views were the highlight ,highly recommend!!!
Amazing
We had a great time during our 2-day stay. The hotel staff were very accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. We had a great room with natural ocean view, which meant we had a view of the ocean but through trees.
They also provided us a late check out
Property staff was amazing. They were very friendly, hospitable, accommodating, helpful and welcoming. Property is on a mountain that has spectacular views of the ocean. Food and drinks at this property was amazing. Food was cooked well, delicious and tasty. Drinks were made well. Great food and drink presentation by staff.
Although the property was in a beautiful location I wouldn't rate this property 5 stars. I could hear my neighbors conversation through the walls. The power went out multiple times. The TV was not useful. The bathtub malfunctioned numerous times. My room service order was provided with no utensils. I was interrupted by staff on numerous occasions when attempting to sleep. I was not provided my advertised discount for food and beverage for being a one key gold member. The male staff was not friendly only the female staff seemed to welcome me. One of the nights someone was trying to open my door while sleeping and it scared the crap out of me because I'm a solo traveler. Upon check in/out I felt rushed. Also, the food was very mediocre. I also found that the air-conditioning was not acceptable for the temperatures and the bathroom area never cooled down at all it felt like a constant sauna in there. I wouldn't stay at this location in the future.

The property is beautiful, one with nature, luxurious villas and stunning views of the hills and the sea.
Special shoutout to every member of staff from the servers at breakfast to dining and cocktails to housekeeping and room service. The warmest and most courteous- really added a special touch to our experience!
The food was amazing- wonderful selection of thai seafood and delicious spread for breakfast.
Also the spa is absolutely lovely.

Beautiful sea views, clean and private pool villa, and top-notch service.
Room service was fast, and transportation within the resort was in a luxurious private car.
The shuttle to the beach and nearby markets was super convenient.

Ayara Kamala Resort & Spa is a very good place to relax. The spa in the resort is amazing with a highly professional therapists. I also enjoyed a very good breakfast. Shuttle to Kamala beach always was ontime, drivers did their job very well. All staff of the resort is very polite and friendly.
Great hotel for travellers looking for a serene and peaceful getaway. Spacious rooms, amazing spa, and good food options. The staff at the hotel were the highlight of my trip--everyone I interacted with was kind, helpful, and friendly.
Housekeeping could be more thorough and attentive--dead bugs and lizard droppings that appeared after my first night remained in the room even after housekeeping visited.
