Eix Lagotel Holiday Resort

Stayed here in July and really didn’t want to leave a bad review. However, it’s important that people are aware when travelling here and being in a different country what to be aware of. My full family went so big crowd 10+.

Pros:
Really lovely staff in general. Smiley, helpful can’t do enough for you!
Great pools.
Good choice of food at meal times.
Free shuttle bus is amazing to the beach.
Shop on site so you don’t have to leave the resort.
Entertainment is excellent and child focus is really good too.

Cons:
Restaurant heat and no air con in there is appalling and how they still won’t do anything after so many bad reviews is ridiculous.
Mosquitoes, they are as bad as you are reading! Kids and adults covered in bites in the end. Not small bites absolute monster bites.

The only negative thing I couldn’t get over was the management…

As a single woman travelling with my children myself I was left in shock and shaken.

I went to use the laundry room and a group of men were waiting there to use the dryer. There had been delays all day and over booking of this service so it had a knock on effect. Grand no big deal we are all on holidays! I asked them to move so I could get the clothes. The youngest lad started shouting that he didn’t have to move and I was interrupting his allocated time!

I said to him to stop shouting and if he moved I would take my clothes out and he could then use the machine. It quickly got out of hand and he started giving out to the men he was with in Spanish about the delay. I felt unsafe in such a small space and when I went to go the man had got so irate and overacting that he punched the wall while looking at me.

I ran with my children to the front desk around the corner and the woman was very helpful. The manager however just sat in his office. At this point my family joined me everyone approached the group of men to see what was actually going on! They quickly apologised when they realised it wasn’t just a woman and her children anymore.

These pigs stayed in the hotel for another two nights. We had to leave for dinner that night at a huge cost to my family as we felt unsafe.

No police were called on my behalf. No manager came to see was I or my children were ok. No one ask me to fill out an incident report.

Those men travelling together shouldn’t have been near a family hotel like this and then proceeded to be allowed to stay there.

I do believe it was because they were Spainish themselves they were allowed to stay there after the incident.

I won’t be returning unfortunately but I would like others to be aware when traveling here.

Huge pity as this was a first family holiday in 20years altogether.

Proper, groot en mooi hotel, ruime kamers en terras ! Rustige buurt, steeds kunnen parkeren aan het hotel zelf. Ontbijt was oké !

I recently stayed at this hotel during my holiday in Majorca and wanted to share how incredibly helpful the staff were during what was initially a very stressful situation.

While swimming at the nearest beach, we unfortunately had our bag stolen, which included important items like my wallet, both of our phones, and my girlfriend’s prescription glasses. It was quite a difficult moment, but the hotel team went above and beyond to assist us in a way that made all the difference.

I’m truly grateful for their support, which allowed us to still enjoy the remainder of our holiday without further stress. After the first few days, we upgraded to an all-inclusive package with no regrets—it was a great decision overall.

We've stayed at EIX Lagotel Holiday Resort towards end of Oct. 2025.We have enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a big swimming pool, all rooms have balcony, a good view of the mountains, walking distance to a white sandy beach and they have have a coach that runs every 30 mins from the hotel to the beach and back, there is a bus stop near the beach where you can take and go to almost anywhere particulary to the historic district of Alcudia and the Airport (take Bus A 32}. From April to mid October all the shops and restaurants around are all open, it's more livelier. The hotel staff are all nice and friendly. The buffet breakfast have loads of selection and will power you all the day, The room we were on was very spacious complete with an oven ,fridge, microwave oven,kettle and cooking utensils. The hotel have organized trips managed by TUI and there is a car rental company and a Doctor in the hotel,The weather was great and the beach water is mild. The resort and other resorts in the Platja de Muro and Can Picafort districts are closed from Nov to March due to low tourist season. Book from April. when the place comes to life again. We will visit Mallorca in the future.

Second time visiting this hotel this year, I love how relaxed it is. Staff are all friendly and helpful. They put us in a room overlooking S’Albufera which as a birdwatcher was amazing. We did get bitten but it’s par for the course near a nature reserve and lake, just take precautions. The insect repellent Goibi that you can get from the chemist over there is good, we bought it a couple of days into our holiday and it made a difference. Food was good and plenty of it. Loved the adult pool where we spent most of our time but we did visit the main pool too. Rooms and general hotel spotless. Shuttle bus great and driver a very friendly and pleasant man. Really love this place.

Everything was great - room was clean, food was delicious and people was really helpful. Best holiday im my life! Great for families and couples.

Nice facilities, various breakfast, very nice staff and great value for the money.

The hotel was lovely the staff were helpful on reception. The free bus service to the beach was excellent. Rooms were comfy and clean . We loved the choice of pools . Our only gripe was the dining room it was total chaos people wandering around aimlessly and the toasters were a nightmare. The food was okay although the cauliflower for breakfast one day did make me smile.

The Eix Lagotel hotel exceeded our expectations, the location was perfect for us , the shuttle bus service was excellent and the driver extremely helpful. The reception staff were friendly and able to answer all our queries. Our room on the second floor was perfect and surprisingly quiet, it faced the Albufera nature reserve, one of the reasons we chose to go to Mallorca was to visit the reserve. We had bed and breakfast which suited us very well, there was a very good selection of food for breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit and multiple other options. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

Amazing facilities, friendly and helpful staff..would recommend, would go back again, lovely lake near hotel worth a walk round.

We stayed at this hotel late October. The location of the hotel itself is great, not a long walk to the main selection of restaurants or the beach, the hotel also offers a shuttle service to and from the beach which is so helpful. The pool area is large and plenty sun-beds (it was quite quiet when we were there so not sure what it would be like in the height of summer!!) and the adults only pool was bliss to escape the noise and people jumping in the pool, plus there was ducks that would swim around every day which was very cute!!

Room was ok, nothing special. It came with everything you need I.e towels, a hair dryer, typical hotel shampoo and soap included if you don’t pack your own like we did. You have to pay for the safe which is a given at most places. Air conditioning is included which is nice. Balcony was very spacious. Our only let down was how unbelievably loud the night time entertainment was!!! God forbid if you have a child or like to sleep before 12:00am. If your room is facing the stage like ours was then good luck! We had an early morning transfer at 1:50am and it was near impossible to get any sleep beforehand. Once entertainment finishes around 10:45-11:00 they play music until 11:30-12:00. Maybe we’re just boring but I find it a bit crazy to expect everyone to want to go to bed after 12:00! If it wasn’t for that then it would be much better, if we knew our room was there ahead of time and that it would be that loud, we’d have asked to move. Mosquitoes are also quite bad so I’d recommend taking a plug in and spray!

Staff were friendly approachable and attentive. Morning arrival and check in was not until afternoon but as I was all inclusive I was able to use facilities and get food and drink. There was an area to leave luggage and get changed ( had the weather been better) being a solo traveler I did not feel out of place despite it being a family hotel and appreciated the adult only pool and bar area. Evening entertainment was good and I enjoyed playing bingo even though I didn’t win.I have no dietary needs and food was good and varied. The hotel and pool areas were clean and tidy although a little “ tired” in places.
Overall very good value for money despite the thunder storms and lack of sunshine
