Generally very nice except my room was very near beer house.
Pros:

Location and quality of breakfast was very good

Cons:

I couldn't sleep because the noisy from the beer house next my room (Room 411 I remember).

Our stay at May De Ville Lakeside Hotel in Hanoi was sn excellent experience. Hotel staff Ms.Lucky was very customer friendly & with her charming personality interacted well during our stay. Location in Old Quarters is just within walking distance to every place you need to hop on!

Calm cool oasis in the centre of old quarter with lovely staff
Pros:

Right in the thick of the old quarter but the hotel itself is quiet, comfortable and the staff are really friendly and helpful (they helped organise transport to other places for us). Delicious breakfast on the top floor next to a lovely pool with an amazing view of the city. We have booked again for our stay on the way back to Hanoi.
