More than just an hotel room….
Pros:

Located a 10 mins drive from airport and based on the sea coast.
Check-in was early with no qualms made as my flight arrived very early from Sao Miguel.
City centre a mere 15 mins ( leisurely ) walk away.
Room had a salon attached with microwave, coffee making facilities and a fridge.
I mentioned previously a salon attached which had its own television ( useful if travelling as a family) and paravane.
The balcony equipped with tables and chairs was a nice addition, with a view of the sea and swimming pool.
Excellent WiFi and TV with an extensive selection of channels.
Excellent breakfast with custom made omelets available.
Mini bar prices reasonable.
Wonderful running track along sea coast; much better than hotel gym which had virtually 4 machines and two thread mills. No weights.

Cons:

Dissatisfied with sauna ( took over an hour to be slightly warm and then power went out!!) door dosent close firmly and there is a real changing room!
Swimming pool was uninviting; full of branches.

As funcionarias da recepcao foram extraordinárias, profissionalismo e simpatia - Natasha . A suite era excelente com uma vista maravilhosa de mar, cama super confortavel, quarto boa dimensao e limpeza cuidada. O jacuzzi com vista mar é relaxante e o ginasio basrante completo e agradavel . Pequeno almoco bastante completo e as funcionarias bastante disponiveis para pedidos extra sumo da laranja natural estava extraordinario bem como belas rabanadas..Sem duvida numa proxima visita a ilha voltaremos
