We received an upgraded room which was a lovely surprise. It was clean & spacious overlooking the river.
We had our evening meal too & food was delicious
Cooked breakfast although plentiful was a little dry possible due to sitting in the serving dishes.
But everything else was spot on.
The room was ideal for an overnight stay before an early flight from Bournemouth Airport - simple but with all we needed, for an excellent price.
Our room overlooked the river and we very much enjoyed seeing the wildlife on the wetland. The room was comfortable and clean. Everything worked well.
The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was lovely and I ate far too much breakfast!
We would have preferred a shower to the shower over the bath, but it wasn't a big problem

Noise from busy road
We were greeted and treated with friendliness and excellent hospitality throughout the 4 night stay. Our room was spacious, spotless and perfectly comfortable with a stunning view over the river. We enjoyed observing the resident cormorants and herons over a delicious buffet breakfast. The carvery on Sunday was magnificent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning again. Although we were working all weekend, our experience at the hotel was really relaxing, which is thanks to everyone who worked to make us feel so welcomed and accomodated.
A warm welcome, an excellent room, good food and a good choice of drinks. Perfect again for a business stay.
I love that this place has so many homely features and after a very long drive and a day of meetings is the perfect place to unwind.

Great location for what I need, free parking, warm and comfortable rooms, a friendly and helpful team.
A very warm welcome we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Mas at front of house was so attentive, caring welcoming, it felt as if we had stayed before but this was our first time and won't be our last. All the additional staff followed in the foot steps and all very professional and polite. We had lunch and breakfast in the Hotel which was lovely. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and we had a really good night's sleep. We are looking forward to going back.
As usual the staff went above and beyond . Our arrival was seamless, room with heating on and curtains drawn , side lights on A real welcome as usual . On departure the next day , a member of staff came to our room and said we could stay after 11am until our taxi came for the airport . Such a kind thought .
The staff were friendly, and gave me a free upgrade when I arrived. Thanks a lot!
